The barn loft is located under the roof of the former barn of a historic mill. A place where silence can still be heard and nature is not a backdrop, but everyday life. Horse, cows, chickens, dog, cats and geese share the Mühlenfeld with old trees, meadows and plenty of space to breathe. Many guests experience the atmosphere as "healing" and the Mühlenfeld as a special place of power. The second vacation apartment, "Im Pferdestall," is also located on the property.
The space
The Barn Loft is located in a former barn and has retained much of its original character. Old wooden beams are partly at head height, and the doors do not conform to today's standard dimensions – occasional bending over is therefore part of it (a small mindfulness exercise included).
The wooden doors between the rooms have also remained original. They serve more as room dividers than as a complete acoustic barrier (see photos).
Life in the countryside includes not only horses, dogs, cats and geese, but occasionally also flies, beetles or a stray wasp. In rare cases, a mouse may also stray into the old barn building. I try my best to prevent this. However, anyone who visits the barn loft should be able to enjoy an original place with its natural peculiarities.
Guest access
The path to the barn loft leads through the mill's seminar room. The apartment itself is separate from it and offers a private retreat.
If you would like to travel with a small group, you can also use the seminar room by arrangement and for an additional fee. When booking the barn loft, the room remains closed for external events.
Other things to note
There is also a treatment and consultation room in the mill.
If you are interested, I will be happy to inform you about my offers.

Neighborhood highlights
My favorite cafes are about 20 minutes by car. I like good cafes. For restaurants, you have to expect about the same time. There are at least 4 swimming lakes within 15 minutes by car. Supermarket 15 minutes. Organic stores within 20-30 minutes by car. Within a good half an hour you are in Herborn, Wetzlar, Weilburg or Limburg.
The mill is located directly on the Kallenbach bike path, which connects the Westerwald bike path with the Lahntal bike path.
There are 3 mineral springs nearby. They were already attributed healing effects around 1900.
