Interaction with Guests
I love to welcome guests from around the world. I'm in and out a lot and have an independent lifestyle as my guests do. If at all possible I like to meet you personally upon arrival to make sure you know where to find anything needed during the stay and to give you some information about what to do in Zurich. During your stay we might meet for a chat in the morning, during the day or in the evening. It all depends on our weekly schedule!
What to do in the direct neighbourhood:
My apartment offers a view over the roofs of Zurich towards Uetliberg. Only a few walking minutes you'll find Sonnenberg with an adjoining small vinyard and a lovely view over Zurich. Uncountable trails in the woods invite for long walks and jogging. You wouldn't believe to find such a lot of green and silence in the city.
Shopping in the neighbourhood:
Coop Pronto, open from 6am to 11 pm daily, except Sundays. Butcher, Cheese specialties, Bakery. Pharmacy, Bancomat, Kiosk. More food shops on Römerhof and Kreuzplatz.
The house can easily be reached by street car 3, 8, 15 and bus 33.
5 or 6 stops to the lake of Zurich, to Bellevue, opera house, to Central place, Zurich main train station or Stadelhofen train station, University and ETH (Swiss Federal Institute of Technology)
4 stops (walking distance) to the art museum (Kunsthaus) and theatre (Schauspielhaus).
I recommend travelling by public transportation. The parking situation in the neighbourhood is complicated, specially on week days.

Located in a quiet living area, Regula's lovely apartment is well equipped and is easy accessed from the center by countless trams and busses. Regula is a nice lady with kind heart. I was so lucky to have Regula as my first Airbnb host. I knew little about Zurich coz I was stuck by work a little before going. Regula gave good advices about museums, markets, foods. Besides, when I got idea of doing paraglider with no sign, she just jumped onto the Internet, called the instructor, set everything for me. When I needed help, Regula was always there. I highly recommend Regula and her cozy apartment for you.
Regula is a generous wonderful person. The room is pretty basic...the bed and sheets are rough. The comforts of the room do not match up to the price. But the transport system is to die for...make sure you eat at aroma...Regula is the perfect host..the room needs to be upgraded...
A clean, well-designed, comfortable, spacious flat.
Great hospitality by the host.
Good communication before arrival.
A convenient location with easy access by tram (10 mins) to the city centre.
The pillow was a bit too hard for me.
Wi-fi was good except for occasional 1-minute pauses.
Would stay again for sure.
I didn't meet Regula at my arrival but she left very clear instructions in how to get in the house. Although she wasn't at home I felt nonetheless very welcome.
The place is quiet and I loved the independence and trust I found.
About the Host, Regula
I love travelling, art, galleries, cooking, eating and drinking red wine, nice restaurants, hotels and architecture. I like hiking in the mountains and rowing on the lake of Zurich. And I like to spend time with my family and friends. I am in and out a lot and work from my home office.
I know Zurich pretty well and can give you some advice what to do here.
I regularly book with Airbnb for my own trips. That's how I originally got to know this platform. I have had such a lot of nice experiences being a guest and being a host.
I'm looking forward to meeting you soon.
