bedroom in a cozy mid century home located on the Hillsborough River. It’s like a little piece of nature nestled in the city. Mature landscaping and permaculture gardens open up to river views that are sure to create feelings of rest and relaxation. Guests have access to full kitchen and outdoor grilling areas. There are fishing poles and kayaks for guest use with access to dock and boathouse equipped with running water. 2 miles from Busch Gardens, but off the hustle of Busch Blvd.

The space
Guests are welcome to use outdoor grill and seating areas for entertaining. There are fishing poles available in the boathouse if you want to try your hand at catching a few fish. There are also two kayaks that guests can use to further explore the river. You must acknowledge that this part of the river has many alligators so swimming is not recommended.

Guest access
Dock, boathouse, Gardens, kayaks, fishing poles, hammock, covered grill area, porch swing, covered and screened outdoor eating, outdoor exposed seating/eating areas, fire pit, indoor living dining, stocked kitchen.

Other things to note
My place is at the end of a dead end street with paved parking for two cars with one space covered. We are very close to Busch Gardens, USF and Moffit.

I own my own small business in Seminole Heights Historic District in Tampa, Florida where I also live. Most of my time not working is spent outdoors. I enjoy cooking and entertaining for friends and family. Recently I have been working on gradually converting my backyard to edible useful Florida landscape.

During your stay
I am pretty available with any questions that you might have about the area and things to do. If you prefer to be left alone, I can totally respect your space. However, if you want to learn about permaculture, vermicomposting, gardening or chickens; I would be glad to share my knowledge and insight.
