Welcome to Aberdeen Arrow, the perfect desert retreat to explore or relax in the High Desert. The mid-century modern cabin, situated on 2.5 acres, was decorated to reflect the modern eclectic bohemian flair of the area. The home, surrounded by Joshua Trees and local flora and fauna, offers sweeping views of the magical mountains of Pipes Canyon and Burns Canyon. The home is mere minutes away from La Copine, Pappy & Harriet's, Pioneertown Mountains Preserve, Joshua Tree Park, and shopping.

The space
The home has a generous open floor plan with one bedroom and one bathroom. The home sleeps 4 comfortably with wide windows that allow the desert sun to shine in. The decor has been meticulously curated for modern desert living. It offers the comforts of the city, while letting you experience the joys of the remoteness and silence of the High Desert.

Throughout the interior you will discover art and objects that we have found throughout our travels. The furniture is an eclectic mix of modern and vintage pieces which reflect the bohemian energy of the area but which also pays homage to the desert environment. The house is furnished with decor and accessories sourced from all over the world, ranging from Turkey, Africa, Portugal, Vietnam to local California artists and artisans.

The living room offers swinging hammocks, butterfly chairs, a pull-out sofa and a wood burning fireplace. The adjacent seating area, includes a potbelly stove and a 100 year old Tibetan butcher table. The dining area offers a large vintage mid-century modern dining table and chairs, perfect for a dinner party. The bedroom is furnished with a queen sized memory foam mattress that is surrounded in wood paneled walls to reflect the cabins of the past. The bathroom has been renovated with clean lines with touches of the rustic environment. The kitchen has new appliances and a french press, coffee grinder and percolator to make your morning coffee and a varied range of cooking utensils and accessories. The kitchen also boasts vintage hairpin barstools at the kitchen island.

The exterior of the property offers a gas burning fire pit for late night chats and a large dining table for al fresco meals. A smaller bistro table is also included for more intimate meals. The front porch has a swing sofa for star-gazing and conversation.
