Staying in a Yurt is pure relaxation!
Mull Yurts is on a working croft on the stunning Isle of Mull. Amazing views, lovely walks, incredible sandy beaches to find and explore. Boat trips head off daily to the Puffin isles of Staffa and Lunga. One of Scotland's top tourist attractions - the Isle of Iona and its Abbey is a few miles away.
The Yurt is cosy and wood burner warm. Lovely for a couples getaway or a family space surrounded by fields to play in and wild places to explore.

The space
The yurt comfortably accommodates 4 guests with a double bed and two single chair beds. There is also space on the sofa for another wee one. There's a wardrobe to store clothes and belongings. The yurts are lit by candles and solar lanterns. We provide a torch or two to make sure you can find your way to your composting loo at night that is just next to your yurt. A two ring gas hob is provided for cooking on, a solar powered fridge is available to keep your food fresh, a hot gas shower in a wooden shed just next to your yurt and a cosy woodburner to keep you warm during the Scottish summer. It is still glamping of course so do remember to bring your wellies and warm clothes. We'll provide a bag of wood on arrival and more wood is available on site for £5 per bag.

Guest access
COVID - we will be applying the Airbnb and Association of Scottish Self Catering advice

• The yurt will be deep cleaned between visitors using disinfectant conforming to the EN14476 standard, particular attention will be given to high contact areas.
• Pillows and duvet will be "rested" at least 72 hours between use
• bedding will be washed at high temperatures
• Door will be kept open between visits - weather permitting
• contact with guests is welcome with appropriate physical distancing

Ferries

Please book a ferry as soon as you are able as they can book up in peak season. You also need to allow plenty of time to get to Oban because the ferry people may give your place away if you arrive later than the 30 minutes before the ferry departs. Oban has a fine selection of second hand shops and loads of supermarkets if you arrive a bit early!

Other things to note
Although the yurt is listed as 3 nights minimum we can sometime accommodate guests for 2 nights stay, please email an enquiry and we will do our best to help you out

Myself and Wendy, my wife, love being out in the wilds, living with a view of the sea and the mountains. I enjoy the croft and using my imagination and youtube to fix and build stuff. It's amazing to get out sailing and kayaking and its really special for Wendy and me to welcome friends and guests to the truly special place that is the Ross of Mull.
