Interaction with Guests

Even though the neighborhood is situated in the middle of the city center, it feels like on the country side, where everything is very peaceful.
In the neighborhood there is all closely habitated wooden-houses, very relaxing, calm and living, and with traditional stone pavements. Ideal also for children, as there is playground very close.
The nearest air shuttle bus stop is 750 meters distance, and is called Hotel Norge, in Christies Gate. When you go off the bus in street "Christies Gate", go back the way the bus came from. Then when arriving to the crossroad of street "Nygårdsgaten", take right. You will arrive after some hundred meeters at Scandic Hotel, continue a bit and you will take first left. From there on, you will see some brick stones on the streets, and walk on those, following the bend towards the right. You will pass a small playground, and you are basically there. Continue a few meters, look for a small street that goes to the left and upwards, which is called Dragefjellstrappen. From Dragefjellstrappen take the first to the right on an even smaller street which is called Bratlandsmauet. Then you will recognize the red wooden house, and you can click on the doorbell.
There is a parking garage 200 meters from the house. The name of the parking garage is Klostergarasjen and its address is Vestre Murallmenningen 14. The price should be 125 NOK per 24 hour, and 5 NOK for 15 minutes.
Other Things to Note
Clean towels and bed sheets are included.
Its ok with small pets that are behaving good! Smoking can be allowed outside in the courtyard and on the balcony.
Generally quiet-time after 2200.
This is really a great place to stay in Bergen. Siri (Martin's mother) was so kind to pick is up from the trainstation, so we got to the house in less than ten minutes. The house is located ideally. You don't need to take a bus or metro, everything you wanna see in Bergen is just a short walk away. The house is very cosy, warm and spacious. Siri gave us all the information and help we needed and made us feel very welcome. She is a great host. (Martin was at work, so we didn't meet him, but his mother arranged everything very well). Ik would recommend this place highly.
Thank you so much for a wonderful stay. The house was absolutely charming and the beds were very comfy. Good location for downtown. Martin your father (I think) was a very patient host and waited for us since we were running late. Thank you again...
Nice apartment very near to the city center. We really enjoyed our stay. Siri is very nice and helpful. Thank you!
The house was cozy and confortable, the neigbordhood calm and save, just 10m walking to the center (market fish). I have seen Martin only for few minuts, but Siri is a really nice woman, always ready to help you and with a nice and friendly smile. I absolutly recommend this place. I think the best place in Bergen.
Thanks a lot again Siri for everyting.
