This property is in an ideal location for sightseeing in Galway. Ray was available and provided access to the house and gave us directions to local areas of interest.
Fantastic location, close to food and the waterfront. Ask Ray for directions instead of following the GPS! Clean and comfortable. A little street noise in the front bedroom was not an issue with earplugs. This is a great choice!
We were about 15 minutes late to our check in time and Ray had to head out, but made sure someone was there to help us check in. Above and beyond for 8:15pm on a Friday night! As the reviews all say, this house is extremely well located in terms of its proximity to downtown Galway. It was an easy walk to all Galway has to offer. The neighborhood itself, although close to the action, was a little seedy. Also, it was a sparse home. Not much by way of modern comforts. But a heartfelt thanks to Ray and his team for hosting us and helping us to enjoy Galway.
Conveniently located in a quiet area within walking distance from the centre of Galway's main tourist district. House is furnished with the basics. A thorough cleaning would greatly enhance the experience.
Ray was easily contactable before our arrival, and waiting for us when we did. He was very friendly and helpful, giving us detailed instructions of the running of the house, and directions around the area. He organised for a clean half way through our stay, and fresh towells. The house was just as described. A little cold, but thats Galway i guess. It is really well located, close proximity to all we needed.
Good functional house in great location a pleasant 10 minute walk from Spanish Arch. Beds were fine for a one night stay but probably not for a long stay. Shower water pressure low.
Super simple check in and fast email responses from Ray.
House suited our needs as a three couple group with one year old perfectly. Would book again.
Great house in a great location. Very central to everything Galway has to offer. No more than 5/10 minute walk to Shop Street, Spanish Arch, Claddagh, etc. House is old style, as indicated, with some modernisation completed in essential areas. Ray, and his colleague, very accommodating and helpful, and all arrangements carried out with ease. Recommended if you're planning a stay in a great City.
