The space
Located in the “Heart of Lubbock” neighborhood, The Whitney House Complex features 3 separate rentable units. A charming front home built in 1929, around the same time Texas Tech University was founded. Then 2 back units added in the 1970's and 80's, with all units being updated in the late 1990's. Though smaller and historic, this property offers a unique stay close to everything that makes Lubbock proud — our Red Raiders.

About The Whitney House Complex Unit "C"

Unit C is located at the front of the back units of the complex and features:
*1 king bed / 1 bathroom efficiency
*Kitchenette with stove/oven and Fridge
*Sleeping for up to 2 guests
*Two assigned parking spots

When you rent Unit C at The Whitney House Complex, you’ll have access to the front of the back units labeled "C" and two parking spaces, one past the carport and one under. The back courtyard is a shared space with guests staying in Units A and B units which is why we have a no party, no kid under 12 and no pet policy.

The Whitney House Complex is located in the “Heart of Lubbock” neighborhood. These homes were built back in 1929 at around the same time the Texas Tech University came to exist. The homes are OLDER and small but bring the uniqueness of being close to what makes Lubbock Proud “Our Red Raiders”. This property was purchased because of the unique courtyard in the back and because it holds 3 SEPARATE units to accommodate guests. The Whitney House is centrally located in Lubbock which means it is close to EVERYTHING, including FOOD, FUN, Hospitals and Texas Tech activities.
