The Venice Biennale, which has its offices in Ca' Giustinian (San Marco, 1364/A) , has for over a century been one of the most prestigious cultural institutions in the world. Ever since its foundation in 1895, it has been in the avant-garde, promoting new artistic trends and organising international events in contemporary arts. It is world-beating for the International Film Festival, for the International Art Exhibition and for the International Architecture Exhibition.Very close to Biennale Art Exhibition .
Studio with a very nice price , a warm alcove in a traditional area . Air conditioning , microwave , and washing machine . Nice for 2 people . Notice , if you need it , there isn't a view from window because the flat, as most of apartments in Venice, is very close to other buildings.
Wi fi device is available you can take with you all around the city. In the flat it doesn't work because of the thick walls.
Very nice part of the city, where venetian people live.
Typical and traditional shop.

Very good location, away from huge crowds of tourists but at the same time just 15 mins walk from SanMarco and main attractions.
Very clean and nice apartment, I usually complain alot about bathrooms, but here everything was very clean and tidy
It was nice to see pasta and a bottle of proseco waiting for us upon arrival.
Overall it is perfect for two people for a short visit.
For longer stay I wouldn't recommend it as the washing machine is not working. And we couldn't get WiFi device to work. But we didn't need it anyway. Overall very nice experience, I will stay there again for sure and recommend it to all my friends.
Very good adress in a good localisation...
Perfect to discover Venise !
We spent one week at Maura's flat to visit the Biennale of contemporary art. As we are not kind of touristic rush in general, we enjoy a lot the quarter. As the kitchen is well equiped we had the opportunity to taste the delicious home-made gnoochi of the little backery near the flat, we bought some fresch and typically vegetables on a boat at Via Garibaldi. We also have great fun by sharing the Sant Martino celebration with the inhabitants at a single little bar at Campo do Pozzi, near the Arsenale.
It was our first adventure with AirBnb, so we really didn’t know what to expect. But after 4 days in Maura’s flat I’m already a convert:) Everything was great. Picking up the keys to the flat was pretty straight forward and convenient for us coming from the airport by bus. We’ve decided to walk all the way to the flat from Piazza di Roma and admire Venice. It took about an hour including stops for picture taking;) The flat is super cute and cosy with everything you need for a romantic stay. We found a little surprise upon our arrival: prosecco, pasta and sauce. Just ideally for our first Italian lunch. And staying in Maura’s flat you don’t have to worry about absolutely anything. Apart from the essentials you can find a washing machine, hairdryer, maps, and even guide books. There’s no probem catching internet if you put the portable router near to the window. It's also very well located in a quiet street near to shops and tratorrias. The main aim of our trip was the art biennale and it couldn’t have been more convenient. The main venues are situated about 7 minut walk from the flat. The only thing we found a little bit unpleasant was the smell of dumpness in the flat, but I imagine it must a general problem in Venice. Luckily there are two aircon devices that will help you to sort it out quite quickly.
Summing up, we recommend staying at Maura's flat 100%.
Maura's flat is as good as advertised.
On the table we had waiting for us some pasta and a bottle of prosecco; the flat itself is, as other guests mentioned, good for a couple of days in Venice, ideally located to visit the Biennale.
Big plus is location & space in the flat. There is all you need in the flat.
The flat itself is a bit humid but that's ok and I wasn't expecting mosquitoes in late october so bring some insect repellant if you can.
Also the couch is a bit tired, could be replaced.
Maura's apartment was just as described and as pictured. It is in a very quiet neighborhood, and a quick walk to the vaporeto. We chose to just walk to San Marco our first day and it didn't take long and went right along the water - a nice walk in my opinion. The apartment itself was small, but suited our needs perfectly. It was a little humid when you first walk in as it's on the ground floor, but the air conditioner took care of that issue rather quickly. Bring some bug spray however, because I got bit a lot by mosquitoes at night in the flat!!
First of all, it is about 10 minutes walk from the Giardini vaporetto station to the flat. There is a short stretch of steps up and down a bridge on the way to the flat. Unless you have very heavy luggage, this should not be a problem. In the flat, there is a mifi unit for Internet. It doesn't work very well inside or on the clothes line. It does work quite well back on the mainland. There is a small supermarket around the corner from the flat. I appreciate the pasta and alcohol left for us upon arrival. We made use of it and the kitchen. Pictures are accurate. Maura's husband had to make the 3 hour trek to the unit to perform a quick repair, and we were very appreciative of that even though it was quite inconvenient for him. Overall, I would highly recommend.
We enjoyed our stay in the apartment, it is located perfectly between the two main Biennale locations Giardini and Arsenale in a nice and quiet neighbourhood. The apartment itself is a little dark but other than that it is very nice! Even though she wasn't there, Maura made us feel very welcome with a well-arranged key pick-up and a clear route description. I would definitely recommend it, especially for those visiting the Biennale.
The studio was exactly as described! It is small, but has everything you need!
Good location, not far to walk into Venice.
As pointed out in the details - it is tricky to get the internet to work inside - but so very helpful to have it with us while walking around Venice.
I got bitten a lot by mosquitos, but only because I forgot to take my spray, then the farmacia was shut on Sunday!
Nice and clean when we arrived, with some emergency food and prosseco on the table waiting for us.
Thanks so much. Can't imagine going to Venice and not staying 'on the island' it was super easy to get into town from here.
The owners went out of their way to meet us at the airport and hand over keys - and their instructions for finding the place were really good.
Maura’s location is a very positive option in Venice.
Her apartment it’s very close to Giardini Biennale vaporetto and only a short walk to San Marco Square.
To Lido there are only a few minutes (two stops) using vaporetto and the neighborhood is safe almost at night.
The wifi is portable so Maura get us the option to be connected everywhere in Venice and it was a great solution for us because we could be connected all time and using maps to go to the major interest points.
Maura sent us clear instructions to reach the apartment and to get the keys and all time was attentive to us.
Furthermore she leaves us a lovely present (pasta and wine) to do our first night so much enjoyable.
If you look for a safe, clean and very good located (website hidden) don’t hesitate to rent Maura’s apartment. We strongly recommended!!!
