Lovely, newly furnished studio overlooking a sunny garden. The main living area has comfortable queen size bed (160x200), a stylish couch that can be converted into a double bed (184x196), and a wardrobe.
The kitchen is equipped with everything you might need, including an oven and hub, a toaster, coffee machine and kettle. There is also a bar with 4 bar stools where you can sit comfortably and enjoy your breakfast.
The bathroom is also newly furnished and has a shower cabin, sink, towel heater and a hair dryer.
A lovely communal garden is right in front of your kitchen & the entrance to your apartment. In the summer we put chairs and a table outside so that you can enjoy breakfasts in the sun.
As our guest you will have the whole apartment to yourself. You won’t have to share it with anybody else. You will also have access to the beautiful communal garden including its seating options. You may also use the bicycle cellar to store your bike.
Interaction with Guests
Once you have booked you will receive a welcome email from us with information about the check in procedure and extensive recommendations for activities, sightseeing, restaurants and bars in Berlin.
During your stay with us we will also be there for you by email or phone.
Our apartment is located in the beautiful and trendy Prenzlauer Berg district, known for its thriving cafe, club and art gallery culture.
Excellent public transport connections take you into Mitte in about 10 minutes, where you can visit main Berlin attractions such as Alexanderplatz, Museum Island, or Hackescher Markt.
From there you can walk to the Brandenburg Gate and Checkpoint Charlie.
The tram M10 connects the Prenzlauer Berg with Friedrichshain where you can visit the famous East Side Gallery or enjoy Berlin’s buzzing night life.
In the Prenzlauer Berg you will find plenty of cafés, kitsch boutiques and alternative-style bars. The popular Kollwitzplatz is only a leisurely 15-20 min stroll away, same as the Kulturbrauerei, an old brewery with shops and nightlife.
Also nearby is the huge & popular park "Volkspark Friedrichshain", with lakes, a fairytale fountain, film showings and beer gardens.
Don't miss the nearby Mauerpark with its large flea market and renowned outdoor karaoke on Sundays. Especially in the Summer a must see.
The apartment is located in one of the more quiet neighborhoods for the Prenzlauer Berg, but you can get everywhere quickly without having to come back to a lot of hustle and bustle. Grocery stores and fast food places (great Döner) are just around the corner. A nice Bavarian restaurant is also just down the street.
The train and tram station "Greifswalder Straße" is only 200m away and will take you directly to:
* the Alexander Platz - 10 minutes.
* the Museum Island with the famous Berliner Dom, Hackescher Markt - 15 minutes
* Schönefeld Airport (SFX) - 35 minutes
Or with one change of trains to
* Tegel Airport (TXL) - 25 minutes
* the Brandenburg Gate - 20 minutes
* Checkpoint Charlie - 25 minutes
The M10 tram station is 700m away and will take you directly to the East Side Gallery (15 minutes)

LINEN & TOWELS
Bed linen and 1 hand towel + 1 bath towel per person are included. Extra towels cost extra and need to be ordered 1 week prior to your arrival.
Parking is marked as included, because there is free public parking on the street outside the apartment. Furthermore, the apartment is just outside the Umweltzone, so the Green Umweltzone sticker is only necessary should you want to drive into or through the city centre.
The apartment is located on the ground floor in a quiet courtyard and is therefore easily accessible.

LATE CHECK IN FEE
If check in takes place after 9 p.m. there will also be an extra late check in fee of 20 EUR which is payable in cash upon arrival.
Since the 1st of January 2014 all private Berlin visitors have to pay the so called City Tax. This 5% tax has to be paid on top of the price you pay on airbnb and will be collected during the check in.

Will I have to share the apartment with other people?
No, you will have the entire apartment all to yourself.
Do you provide bed linen and towels?
Yes, we provide bed linen and one small and one big towel per person. If you would like more towels, you can order them before your arrival at an extra charge.
Do you have internet?
Yes, all our apartments have free wifi.
How far away are the major tourist attractions?
All our apartments are located in the Prenzlauer Berg, a lovely and central district of Berlin with lots of cafes, restaurants and little shops. You can explore all of Prenzlauer Berg and parts of Mitte (=centre) district by foot. If you are less keen on long walks, public transport is only 200 meters away from the apartment and will take you to Alexanderplatz, the centre and public transport hub of East Berlin, within 10 or so minutes. From there you can walk to the Brandenburg Gate, Check Point Charlie and many other sights.
Do you provide coffee and tea?
Our apartments usually are equipped with the basics, coffee, tea, sugar, salt, oil. We do not as such provide these items, but we leave them in the apartments from pervious guests. So most of the basics are usually there for you to use.
Are we allowed to smoke in the apartment?
No, smoking is not allowed in the apartments and be cause for a termination of the rental contract.

Herunterladen, hochladen, streamen und jegliches Anschauen oder Nutzen von illegalen Inhalten über unseren Internetanschluss sind VERBOTEN und können strafrechtlich verfolgt werden.
Bettwäsche und 1 Handtuch und 1 Badetuch pro Person sind im Preis inbegriffen. Zusätzlich Handtücher kosten extra und müssen spätestens 1 Woche vor Ihrer Ankunft bestellt werden.
Beim Check Out bitten wir die Wohnung besenrein zu übergeben.

We are a laid back Irish-Polish/German couple.
We moved to Berlin about five years ago and are really loving it here.
It's an amazing city and we are looking forward to sharing our favourite Berlin spots with you.
We have prepared an extensive guide book for all our guests with many tips on what to do in Berlin, where to eat and where to go out in the evening. It also has a section for parents and tips for the winter and for the summer.
