About this listing
My apartment makes a GREAT carnival headquarters. It has a GROUND ZERO location at the start of the carnival circuit on the city's main square in Campo Grande. Step out the front door and step right into the middle of the party!
This is a comfortable, two bedroom, two bath apartment, roughly 100m2 in size.
The apartment has spectacular panoramic bay views and (partial) carnival circuit views from the living room and bedroom.
This is my home here in Salvador, but I offer it as a rental for Carnival, so the space is always well maintained and the "living is easy";
-Both beds have comfortable high quality mattresses, pillows, sheets to ensure a good nights sleep.
- There is a couch in the living room that can sleep one (doesn't fold out) and there is a fold out futon that functions well as a bed when a double mattress is placed on top.
-The apartment is equipped with a high speed wi-fi internet connection (50 MEG).
-Quality sounds systems are provided in the master bedroom & living room.
-There is a 55 inch HDTV with a SKY TV satellite connection (with international programming) in the master bedroom
-There is a 32 inch HDTV with a SKY TV satellite connection (with international programming) in the master bedroom
You get the whole apartment. Enjoy!
Interaction with guests
I will get you checked in and oriented to the apartment, the neighborhood, and the carnival party.
If you need help buying Carnival Tickets (abadas) for the various Carnival Blocos and Camarotes, I can help you with that. I run a carnival related business, Salvador Carnival Guide, that provides this service.
Campo Grande, where the apartment is located, is one of the city's better neighborhoods. Here one finds the city's main square, the city's main concert hall, and the famous Hotel da Bahia (Sheraton).
It’s GROUND ZERO location for Carnival. The Campo Grande Carnival Circuit starts right outside the building’s front door and the city's main square is one of the best places in the city to catch all the carnival action.
Access to and from anywhere in city is easy. Public transportation can be found within short walking distance of the apartment.
The city's other two principal Carnival circuits, the Barra/Ondina circuit and the Pelourinho/Historic Center circuit are either a short taxi ride away or about 20+ minute on foot, if you prefer to walk.
Hi, I'm Daniel, an American ex-pat from the San Francisco/Bay Area who has been living here in Salvador da Bahia, Brazil for over 15 years. I came down here on vacation, fell in love with the place, and ended up moving down here (watch out, it can happen to you too!). To pay the bills, I own, manage, and book vacation rental properties apartments. I'm also licensed to practice real estate agent in Brazil (Cresci #08864) in case you are also looking to buy.
Hope to see you here soon : )
