French doors open to a beautiful deck with ample seating and space to enjoy a warm sunrise or afternoon sunset. Exit the front door for a stroll to the lovely Clarkdale Park which hosts live music, parades and other special events.Take a 20-30 minute drive to beautiful Sedona and come back to the quiet streets of Clarkdale. Wine tasting rooms are close by in Old Town or Jerome.

The space
This historic house is full of charm. Originally built in 1915 for the mining days of the preplanned company town of Clarkdale, it has been upgraded in only the right areas. The full kitchen has been completely renovated and includes an elegant bar for additional seating. It has all the amenities plus a few starter items such as coffee and bottled water. The two bedrooms have queen mattresses and windows to let the natural light in. The front bedroom has a gorgeous wall size mirror and a Smart television along with a brand new bed. The back bedroom has a completely new queen bed with a Cool Gel memory foam mattress. The inviting living room has a new couch and loveseat. The couch folds out for additional sleeping room. The bathroom has homemade hand soap from a wonderful Clarkdale business and smells so good! A full deck with built-in seating and extra chairs offer a beautiful view of Bitter Creek and surrounding hills. Take in the history of the town with the view from the backyard which looks out on the old smelter, railroad tracks and distant views of the red rocks in Sedona. Make yourself comfortable on the front porch as the neighborhood comes alive with the friendliest small town you will experience.
The house is not childproof. There is no satellite TV, however options to log into Netflix or other apps as well as a Blu-Ray player is available. No parties and no smoking allowed on property.

Where you’ll be

Clarkdale, Arizona, United States

This quaint little town has many offerings such as kayaking on the Verde River, a yummy breakfast at Violette’s (located at the Caboose), lunch at Scott’s Main Street Cafe or grab a cocktail at the 10/12 Lounge. Most of the aforementioned attractions are within walking distance of the house. The Copper Museum has been voted number 1 from TripAdvisor's "Best Things to Do" in the town. The Verde Canyon Railroad train ride is a wonderful trip into Sycamore Canyon with open air gondola cars. Tuzigoot National Monument is a truly fascinating experience and is easily accessible for walking the monument grounds. Clarkdale Historical Society and Museum is a five minute walk into the downtown business district and offers a fabulous look into the town’s history.
The Verde Valley is a fabulous area to explore. Area attractions include:
Blazing M, located in Cottonwood, is a fun experience for all ages plus includes a chuck wagon dinner.
Jerome is a fun day trip to check out the wineries, shops, Douglas Museum or a ghost tour.
Out of Africa, located in Camp Verde, offers an in depth look at exotic animals and a zip line over the lions den.
Sedona has a variety of hikes for all levels as well as Jeep tours and shops.
