Location, Location, Location! We are in the middle of it all.
Much to see and do in Waikiki. The World’s most famous beach is just two short blocks away. Watch the sunsets from nearly any vantage point along the beach and see the Friday night fireworks from the Hilton Hawaiian Village. The nearby neighborhood includes several major hotels and numerous large and small restaurants and nightclubs that cater to every nationality. Ask the kamaaina (locals) for their tips. The Royal Hawaiian Shopping Center and other “World Class Shopping” may be found on Kalakaua Avenue (the street fronting the beach). A few blocks away you will find famous Kapiolani park and the Waikiki Shell, Honolulu Zoo, Waikiki Aquarium, Diamond Head, golfing and many tennis courts.
Parking is available onsite and is located in the below street level garage. Daily parking fees are approx. $20 per 24 hours. Payment options may be selected at the vending kiosk located at the bottom of the ramp.
But who needs a car in Waikiki? Everything is in walking distance. But if you have an itch to venture out, the island's bus transit system is awesome.

Our host Theresa was extremely helpful with our reservation and helping with all our enquiries. The unit is very clean and comfortable and very close to Waikiki Beach, about a block. The kitchenette included toaster, microwave and tea and coffee making facilities. The unit is in the heart of Waikiki therefore it can be a bit noisy in the evenings but overall a very good unit for the price and location which was our top priority.
Thanks for the feedback. Our older buildings in Hawaii come with Jealous type windows which were made to take advantage of the breezes as many folks do not use a/c. I gues we are just use to the busy noises of Waikiki which is always busy. Next time, I recommend another building at a higher price point might be a better match for you. Aloha, Theresa
Didn't communicate or meet Theresa but the ladies that helped us were very friendly and accommodating! Room was ready upon arrival. Everything we need d was provided. The only complaint would be the outside noise level at night.
Check-in was a simple matter of retrieving the key from the lockbox, then seeing Theresa so she can make copies of IDs and register us with security. She also gave us an extra key, which was quite helpful. The apartment was a tad small for three of us, but since we didn't spend a lot of time in it (except to sleep), it didn't really matter. Since we live in the city, noise was not a problem, but if you are a country dweller, best to take ear plugs. The apartment is a corner unit, so you get two balconies. One has chairs to relax in and the other holds the full size refrigerator (and a great place to store your luggage). To create more space, we moved the small table from the balcony to the wall next to the A/C and placed the microwave on it. Not only did this free up counter space for the 2-burner hot plate, but it allowed better access to the only wall socket in the kitchen area. There is only one sink basin in the kitchen, so you have to wash and rinse your dishes in cycles. Theresa placed a futon mattress in the apartment for the third person of our party at no additional charge. It has no frame and goes directly on the floor....look for the extra blanket and pillow in the storage bench. The bed is a double, not a queen as described. It was quite comfy and caused no back aches. Plenty of towels, including two beach towels. There are also two low-back beach chairs on the patio for use. I had one weird encounter....I needed to pop down to the 24-hour store on the lobby level in the middle of the night for an emergency (low blood sugar). When I started to go back to the elevator, I guy who was sitting in the lobby area asked if I had a key to the elevator. He gave off weird vibes, so I said no and sat down myself, pretending to be waiting on someone. I didn't want to get trapped in an elevator with this guy if he saw me get out my key fob. When I saw the security guard come back around, I told him about it. The weird guy was promptly escorted out of the building. If you rent a car, there is parking in the public garage under the building, but it's $20/day (I wish there was a way to get a discounted week pass). For the price and location, the apartment was nice, if a bit cramped, and I'd probably stay here again. Local Recommendations: The Shore Fyre is around the corner and was a favorite for breakfast (they have been featured on the Food Network in the past). Their loco moco is pure comfort food! If you need a break from spendy restaurants, there's also a McDonalds a little over a block away. A new karaoke bar, Wang Chung, opened a few...
Teresa contacted me ahead of my trip, confirmed and re-confirmed our arrival time and was there to greet us when we arrived. When the door handle broke the first night she was extremely accommodating and got it fixed immediately.
Honolulu is a city so if you're not prepared for city noise, you will be disappointed. The neighborhood was fine. Love to access to little and local eateries -- even shrimp bus in the parking lot. However, the noise of the city is ever present
Great location for the beach and the main shops and restaurants in Waikiki. Terrible noise problem because of it. Comfortable bed but very interrupted night sleep for myself and traveling partners all the nights we were there. Good value for money, it had everything we needed in light of the noise.
Check in was super easy despite Teresa not being there. Instructions were idiot proof and we were in our room in 5mins from arrival.
In saying all that, we had an awfully inconvenient situation with plumbing above/below us that involved maintence using our room to fix the problem. We trust it was a once off but better communication is needed in such situations.
