margaret was very friendly and we instantly felt at home. her house was immaculatly clean and we felt if we wanted we could quite easily go to make a drink without feeling uncomfortable. a very warm lovely lady. we only booked the one night at the start going out there as we were unsure what to expect but were so happy we booked a further night at end of holiday thankyou margaret. fabulous location too
We had a great time at Margaret's! She was a great host and was very kind and accomodating. My friend and I had a couple delightful chats with her and we felt perfectly at home. Her house is beautiful and the room was very clean and comfortable. We would definitely recommend that you book with her!
We really loved staying with Margaret. We had a very comfortable room, and were able to cook an evening meal in the kitchen and were really made to feel at home. It truly was a 'warm, welcoming Irish home', and we very much enjoyed the company of Margaret and her son James. They were both very helpful with local advice, and it was a really pretty area to stay in. It was lovely to get to know a local family, even if briefly. Whilst there, we drove to nearby Kilmore Quay, and took a boat trip to Great Saltee Island, which was a really interesting experience, especially if you are interested in birds.
I am a lively person, I like to keep active, run most days and cycle. I have two grown sons who live independent lives. When their home. No vacancies lol. I also like to travel to new places, Turkey being my latest love. I have a very good knowledge of the area where I live as I was born locally. I come from a farming background and part of a large family. I believe life is for living and trying new things.. so here I start another with Airbnb
