This room is one of four rental rooms in the house. It has
- a private half bath
- showers available in two full bathrooms available to guests
- a tiny balcony with a view of the city
- a small refrigerator
- a desk and chair
- a dresser
- queen-sized bed
- its own heat
- fan for warm summer nights, although the room faces south and can become hot.
There is a highway nearby so there are traffic and truck noises at night. Nature is in our backyard, close to hiking trails and mountain biking.

The space
The house is unique and the bedrooms are at the top of the house on the third floor. There is a spiral staircase to climb two floors up. They are not too difficult, but please be aware that large suitcases are a bit harder to carry up spiral stairs. The main bathroom is one floor below the bedrooms, but there is a half bath in this room.

This particular room has a half bath and a tiny balcony from which you can overlook the city.

I am an educator, and I have my own tutoring company. I also work for a respected university. I am a homeowner, and I have 3 rooms for rent in my own house. Therefore, I am a respectful guest. I always make sure I leave the premises the same as, or better than, I found them.
I have traveled to London, South Africa and Zimbabwe, Costa Rica, the States, and Mexico. I travel frequently to Ontario, where I was raised in the beautiful Niagara region. I enjoy meeting the people where I visit, and luxury, although nice, is not a requisite. I usually rent a vehicle to cruise the countryside at my own pace, although I like to use public transportation or Hop-On, Hop-Off in the cities.
My life motto is "Be kinder than necessary, as everyone is fighting some kind of battle."
