About this listing
If you're going to NOLA, why not be in the most popular location --the Marigny Triangle? Our artist studio apt. with exposed brick, kitchen, balcony access, garden and a fireplace is ideally situated on Frenchmen st (97% rating on TripAdvisor)!
It's hard to find anything this size and this close to the heartbeat of the musical, gastronomic and cultural delights of New Orleans at this price point. Walk just half a block and you'll be in the French Quarter, 1 block and you're on Esplanade. You can even just sit on the balcony and enjoy the music of the night coming from the brass band playing downstairs.

Interaction with Guests
You will have your own private apartment with separate entrance. I am in the unit below the apartment. As a local, I am happy to show anyone around or offer recommendations upon request.
The Fauborg Marigny is the art and music center of the city. Rated one of the best neighborhoods in New Orleans, with locally owned art galleries, boutiques and restaurants popping up all over and at the center of it, the live music scene of Frenchmen st.
Excellent walk-score. Everything you need --groceries, supermarket, bars, laundry, restaurants, museums-- all just a short walk away. The French Quarter is three blocks away. Bourbon--the heart of the French Quarter--is just a 9 min walk from our house. Basically anything in the French Quarter is under ten min walk away from us. No need to use or bring your car.
Other Things to Note
It's an old house so the stairs leading up to the apartment are steep.
Check in: Your room should be ready by 3 PM, but sometimes earlier, and we can almost always store your bags anytime.
Check out: If a new guest is arriving on the day of check out we ask that you check out by noon, but we can often make exceptions if the next guest is arriving late. As with check in we can almost definitely store your bags for you.
Noah and Jasmine's place was super cute and in the middle of it all. Noah was in contact the whole time to make sure everything was ok. Aww, he is so nice!! They give a lot of recommendations. Man, I could go on and on, but the jist is that we had a great time and being able to stay here was a big reason why.
Noah was there to greet us when we arrived and helped one of our party with her bags. I was excited about staying on Frenchmen street and being so close to Adolfo's, my favorite restaurant in the entire U.S. I did find that the listing was inaccurate for sleeping 5, because sleeping 3 was a bit too cozy for my liking. But we didn't find that we needed the earplugs that were provided and we weren't in the apartment more than to shower and sleep. The stairs were treacherous and steep. But nice style and nice location. The rubbish hadn't been emptied before we arrived and the apartment could do with a deep clean.
Noah was an incredible host--he checked in more than once to make sure we had everything we needed (we did), and the studio is a perfect base for a couple's stay in New Orleans.
Easy access to the Quarter, the Marigny and the emerging scene in the Bywater, a ton of charm and an INCREDIBLY comfortable bed at a great price.
I'm going to check availability on this property first on my next trip to New Orleans.
Although we did not meet either Noah or Jasmine during our recent one day stay at their studio, our experience was a good one. Noah provided excellent directions on how to access the studio and gave us suggestions for nearby entertainment and dining. The location of the studio is outstanding, literally steps away from the music and other activities on Frenchmen street, and a short walk to the Quarter. The studio was clean, comfortable, and well equipped. We arrived in July, when the New Orleans temperature was 95 degrees, and the air conditioner strained to keep us comfortable. We would come back, but would do so in cooler weather.
Noah was nice, and the place was pretty much what we expected. Small but just fine for two adults and our two dogs. The location is perfect, and we were able to walk everywhere. The only thing is it was really hot. There's only a window unit, and it didn't cool the place down very well. But it's Nola in July, so what're you gonna do. This place would be great in the fall or spring, though. Great for the price, and we would stay there again.
Noah was very welcoming! Kept in contact the entire stay to make sure we were all looked after!
Neighbourhood location is ideal- so close to everything.
Noah's place in NOLA is fantastic if you want to be in the heart of the action! We were very excited to be in the beautiful French Quarter and in such a cute place. Noah was very informative and had clearly thought of everything we'd need or want before we arrived.
We walked up to Bourbon St. and had a great time and then when we got back to his place, there was a Jazz band playing on the corner of his block and it was very very fun!
