Location is top notch and within walking distance to everything that the East Village and Lower East Side has to offer. To add to the NY experience it is a 4th floor walk-up. I'm more than happy to help bring up your luggage.

Interaction with Guests
My schedule is varied but am always available to answer any questions that you have and can be reached by text or email if I am out of the apartment. I want to make sure you are comfortable!
The apartment is situated in the east village right by Houston street. Steps away from Katz's, Clinton Street Baking Company(the best breakfast in town), plenty of restaurants, bars, lower east side, and a quick 20 minute walk to Soho. It doesn't get better than that.
The F subway is less than a 10 minute walk. There's also the M14 bus conveniently located in front of the building that takes you to Union Square , also there's the M21 bus that takes you up and down Houston street. Citi bike is also across the street. Cabs are easily accessible outside of the apartment as well.
Other Things to Note
Check in is at 12pm and checkout is 11 am. There can be flexibility on this as I understand that there are international flights. I will always try and work with you if I am able to.
I ask for you to be respectful of the home, clean up after yourself,no drugs or smoking, no guests in the apartment. This is New York so feel free to come back at whatever time you would like. I just ask you to keep the noise down after hours.
Tal was a gracious host! The apartment was clean and spacious and the room was very private. The area felt safe and Tal was always available via email or phone to answer questions if she wasn't home. Overall I had a great experience and would recommend this apartment to anyone!
The apartment is cozy, and so is the room. Tal handled everything in a highly reliable, obliging manner. The only downside: the nearest subway stop is a couple of blocks away.
Tal was awesome! The apartment is located in an old but secure building, inside the unit was very clean and cozy. The shower had great water pressure and Tal had lots of towels for me. The bed was also very comfortable. Tal had coffee and tea for me and great neighbourhood suggestions for things to see and do. The apartment is located in a walk to everywhere neighbourhood. Defiantly bring a sweater if you come to stay in the winter, Tal provided me with a heater for my room just incase I got cold. :) She also had an umbrella for me to use. She’s a great host, I would stay there again in a heart beat.
Nice and clean room! Tal gave us good advices about transport, shows in Broadway and visits....thank you for all!
Tal is a friendly and warm host. Thoughtful of her to provide the list of recommended places. LES is a place of historical significant in US tenement history, got to learnt about this when i walked and explored the area. Chinatown and Little Italy are within walking distance for those who like Chinese (Cantonese, shanghai, Sichuan cuisines and Chinese vegetarian) and Italian food. Glad that I have chosen to stay with Tal.
Tal is extremely friendly and helpful with all the enquiries my friend and I had. She was also very accomodating to our schedules, especially on our first day when we reached her place much later than we expected. Tal also provided us with an awesome and very useful guide on the recommended cafes and pubs in the neighbourhood - we highly recommend Tompkins Square Bagels!
Her apartment is cosy with all the amenities we needed. However, it is located on the fourth storey with no elevators available. People with big and heavy luggages may find it difficult to carry their luggages up and down four flights of stairs. It was a very good workout for us to walk up and down the stairs everyday though!
There is a bus stop right across the road from the apartment, and the nearest subway station is a 10-minute walk away. The neighbourhood is quiet and safe - no problems even when we were walking back to the apartment late.
Overall, I recommend staying with Tal when you are visiting NYC!
Tal is a very nice host, friendly and helpful. I appreciated her recommendations for bars, supermarkets and places in East Village, where you can have breakfast with best bagels, pancakes etc.
It's a neat and clean apartment. My small room had a very comfortable bed plus it was quit (no traffic noise, I didn't expected this in Manhattan) - I could sleep excellent.
I'm a singer/actress living in this beautiful city, I'm a foodie and love to try new restaurants, laid back, love to laugh. I have been in the hospitality industry for many years, and so I know what is required of a great host.
