Great apartment and great views!
McKerrow Place has great views of the lake and Walter Peak.
The house was perfect for what we were after and while a few minutes out of town by car, it was not hard to get to. Hint on access - go past the roundabout and along the lake to Glenorchy and take the turnoff to Sunshine Bay. McKerrow is first on the right. Well worth staying here.
Fantastic house in gorgeous Queenstown. My family was travelling with my elderly parents and this house was great for them. A few stairs to get into the house, but once in - all living and a bedroom/bathroom on one level for them. It was excellent. Enjoyed Shotover Jets, Skydive Paradise out in Glenorchy were fantastic.
Sue's apartment is excellent for the cinematic beauty that looks directly onto lake Wakatipu. The accommodation can easily handle 4 people...and we were a party of four.
The apartment was clean and well provisioned, with exception of Internet access. It was a nice walk along the lake from to Queenstown and the airport only 5min by car. i would not hesitate to recommend the apartment for those looking for a taste of Queenstown and a spectacular view.
We had a lovely 5 night stay at this cottage. the views are just fantastic! It's generally in great condition and well stocked, although we found it odd that there's only enough living room and deck seating for 2 (there were 4 of us). Also the master bedroom doesn't have a door which can affect privacy.
Amazing house. Very well equipped. Fabulous views. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here.
Great apartment. Right at lake with phenomenal views. Close to town. Very clean and well maintained. Great hosts. Wifi would have been a huge plus for international travellers. Wld be happy to pay for it. Drive way is down a slope and there is a staircase to apartment so heavy luggage can be an issue.
Would love to stay here again. Highly recommended for couples, small families and those looking for a great place in Queenstown
Agreed, a great little house with fantastic views over the lake. Stayed end of winter/start of spring so the 'fatso' wood burner kept things cosy. Sue was a great host and very quick to respond. Recommended.
The reservation was canceled 35 days before arrival. This is an automated posting.
Like it says on the tin - a great little house with great views. A bit more than a stroll (about 45 minutes on foot) from town, but worth the 10 - 15 dollar taxi ride. Comfy beds, clean and bright, all necessary things in the house. Stayed in summer.
