Interaction with Guests
Yes I could be available if I'm not travelling, helping if I can! Please note that I'm speaking French too as I'm French! ;)
By the way, if you're from Germany, could you bring some Mischbrot for my German colleague?? She would love me for ever.. lol
There is also a variety of public transport close at hand, such as the Luas Red Line Train, and a wide range of public buses, Hop On-Hop Off buses, other tour buses and Dublin Bikes. Super convenient to the supermarkets, shops, pubs, cafés, etc.
- Tranway: The Luas which leads you to o'connell st, jervey's shopping center, etc.. in 5min!
- Cycling: Rent Bikes at Phoenix Park (5min from Smithfield) is just great !
- Walking: My place is at 10-20 mins walking distance of Temple Bar, Guinness Storehouse, Trinity College, O'Connell Street, Christ Church Cathedral, Phoenix Park.
You have 3 options to get to my place from the airport:
- Option 1: The taxi is the Best option; 20min driving = 20€ OR
- Option 2: Take the airport express bus (number 747) to Busaras (bus station) and from here take the red line Tram (called Luas) to Smithfield OR
- Option 3: Take local bus 41 to Abbey street for 2 euros, then take the red line Tram (called Luas) from Abbey Street stop to Smithfield.
Other Things to Note
I'm really looking forward to welcoming you to my home sweet home :)
No pets. No smoke in the apt (balcony).
Also pls note that this is not an hotel, it is my Home Sweet Home :) so the heater can be switch on, during winter time, for 3 hours max by day, but it needs to be switched off before you leave the apt.
Please leave the apartment reasonably clean, don't eat in the room, & pls wash your own dishes & take off the sheets before leaving - Much appreciated!
Last but not least: Pls between 11pm and 7am, close the doors with Kindness, Gentleness, & talk Quietly please - Really appreciated! :)
I need to say all of that somehow - but don't worry, be happy :) Thanks, Eloise
I booked 5 nights at Eloise's lovely apartment for my mother who visited me in Dublin as I am also living in the area of Smithfield and think it's one of the best places. My mother really enjoyed her time here and the guest room in the apartment was perfect and very modern. Everything was provided such as towels, a charger, some Dublin guides, maps and even a tablet. For breakfast Eloise had a nice assortments of tea, biscuits, fruits and cereals. Also I was able to buy some groceries and store them in the fridge so that my mother and me could enjoy our breakfast at the able and use everything from the kitchen.
Eloise was always very friendly and welcoming and my mother felt like home in her apartment. We also sat down with Eloise one evening for tea and had some nice conversations about various topics. My mother felt comfortable at all time and both of us would definitely recommend Eloise and her apartment to everyone, who is looking for a nice, affordable and centrally located accommodation in Dublin with an amazing host!
Eloise es muy simpatica y aunque casi no nos vimos, el rato que charlamos fue muy agradable, su apartamento esta muy bien y el colchon de la cama es maravilloso.
Really good apartment and excellent location. You can be at O'Connells in 5 minutes with the tram, or walk there in 15 minutes. Although I saw Eloise only for a while, I can say she is a nice host.
The zone is very nice and close to the temple bar. We only stayed for 2 nights. Eloise was very kind, she explained us all the things in their house... Food in the kitchen for dinner or breakfast. The apartment was very clean. And if I return to Dublin, for sure I will go with Eloise.
Eloise left very simple instructions how to collect the keys from reception who was very polite & friendly. The apartment is modern spacious clean & quite big. It's decorated to a high level. My room was very cosy with lots of storage/wardrobes & plenty of drawers. The lounge was again spacious with large comfy sofas. The kitchen was immaculate & there were some cereals, chocolate & plenty of good choices with tea coffee & hot chocolate. The bathroom was clean & again quite big. It was also nice to have clean towels provided. Eloise also left plenty of literature in my room for all the local main attractions for the city centre. Also the location of the apartment is a nice short walk into temple bar O'connell St & St Stephens green. There's a few local bars coffee shops, theres also a super market gymnasium & the tram/cycle hire a minutes walk from the apartment. I met with Eloise during my stay & spent time chatting about lots of interesting things. I has a very nice time in Dublin & the hospitality from my host has made it easy to book again next year.... It was a really lovely time spent in Dublin for me. I would highly recommend staying here to anyone who wants to visit Dublin... Thanks a million Eloise. 10 out of 10 ;) X
