Interaction with Guests
There are 4 rooms rented on AirBnB in this apartment so you will be sharing it with me and other guests. This is so much fun! We often end up with an eclectic group from all over the world coming together for coffee in the morning and drinks around the neighborhood.
Williamsburg is the best! You will be right around the corner from vintage boutiques, Michelin restaurants, nightlife, a thriving music scene, food trucks and great transit options, from the water taxi to streets easily traveled by foot.
We are located between the Bedford Ave L and the Marcy Ave JMZ subway stops. Both stations are the first stop in Brooklyn, so you can get to Manhattan in no time!
It is also an easy commute to JFK Airport and a quick cab ride to Laguardia.
Other Things to Note
Some neighborhood highlights include:
Peter Luger Steakhouse – World Famous and rated NY #1 steakhouse for 30 years. 3 blocks away.
Knitting Factory – the epicenter of the Brooklyn music scene. See the Strokes before they make it big, or on Sunday see Saturday Night Live writers do standup. 5 minute walk.
Brooklyn Bowl – go listen to Questlove of the Roots DJ every Thursday night. 5 minute walk.
Brooklyn Brewery – tour and taste one of America’s finest microbreweries. 5 minute walk.
Cook whatever you want! Just clean up when you are finished.
After you shower make sure to turn on the fan, and don't leave puddles on the floor.
No nookie in the living room!
Most importantly - no Nickelback. Ever. Ever. Ever.
The perfect stay for those wanting to be close to the action. Bedford Avenue is around the corner and everything you need only a short walk away. Alex has a great, clean and friendly place and I'd definitely recommend it to friends.
Thanks a lot Alex for the nice stay and all the advices !

It was an easy and seamless experience! Comfy bed, clean, inviting house. Only downside is one bathroom for quite a few people to share.
If you are looking for a nice place to stay, close to Manhattan and in a lively neighborhood, go to Alex´s apartment! It´s a 10-15 min walk from two subway lines, the rooms and the bathroom are clean and in the kitchen you find everything you need. If you spend some time in the living room you might get the chance to meet some great people who are staying in the other three rooms (hi Liam!).
Williamsburg is an amazing place. Nearby the apartment you have lots of shops, bars and restaurants. There´s a list with some recommended spots in your room. Definitely go to dziupla and try the burgers (or the veggie balls)!
Alex was a great host and we miss him dearly.
We would come back any time 3
Alex is a good guy. His instructions beforehand were very clear. He turned up to make sure the bedrooms had been cleaned. The immediate neighborhood has some shopping (including good small restaurants, a small deli, a fair-sized supermarket). The subway was a 20 minute walk for me but I am on the slow side. There is are elevators up to the platform.
A problem: you expect train noise at that location, but I did not expect the noisy bar close by that was open past 2:00 (I don't know when it closes) on Friday night, possibly Saturday (I left a day early rather than find out.)
I had a fantastic experience in Williamsburg. The location was great, everything was well labeled in the apartment. I would absolutely stay here again, and probably will in the near future.
Alex was great, very communicative, and his travel and restaurant tips were spot on.
The perfect spot to stay in the best area in New York. The apartment is clean and tidy, brilliantly located near the subway, bridge and all the restaurants and bars too. Alex had some great recommendations of places to go. Williamsburg really is the place to be. Go there. Now!

About the Host, Alex
I am a laid back guy who loves playing soccer(football), giant Arsenal fan, and change facial hair frequently. I can make Thirty minute brownies in twenty minutes. I'm a tour manager and bartender.
I'm a Seinfeld trivia expert, and I really like hot sauce, the hotter the better.
