Where you’ll be

Fredericksburg, Texas, United States

Fredericksburg is a unique German town founded in 1846. It retains much of its German charm and provides opportunity to explore through its many old buildings and history. Two museums offer guests a historical venture. The Nimitz National Museum of the Pacific War houses the primer collection of memorabilia of the WWII Pacific Theater. The Pioneer Museum showcases houses of the founding fathers, school houses and other artifacts of the 19th-century.

In addition to history Fredericksburg and Gillespie Country offer more than 40 wineries and tasting rooms.

Excellent walking and hiking trails are available for all levels of activity. Enchanted Rock State Natural area is only 15 minutes away. Walking trails within the city at Lady Bird Park and the Texas Ranger Heritage Center are only 5 - 10 mins away.

We love to travel, visiting places that we have not seen before, however, since living in Fredericksburg, Texas, we have traveled less because we are so involved with life in the Texas hill country. We enjoy our excellent local theater, great restaurants and music here in the area. We appreciate our friends who share our values and spend time with them as often as possible.
