About this listing
A beautiful 5 bedroom detached house, a 4 minute drive from the ferry, on almost an acre, with plenty of off-road parking for bikes and cars. 4 en-suite rooms, with a double and a single bed, TV, wi-fi, and tea/coffee in each room.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay with Vivienne and Tony. The room was spacious and comfortable, with soft towels and peaceful surroundings. The breakfast was delicious, with perfect, fluffy scrambled eggs. Tony gave us a ride to and from the ferry and kept us laughing with his sense of humor, and Vivienne's recommendations for activities were excellent. We would definitely stay again upon returning to Ireland!
Vivienne greeted me and gave me breakfast in the morning - she even packed a take away fry for me as I was running late. She was very pleasant and obliging. This location is perfect for the Rosslare ferry.
Vivienne and Tony are such lovely people, they gave me the warmest welcome possible. It was a joy staying in their cozy house, my room was immaculate, Vivienne made me a nice breakfast and I had everything I needed at all times. Tony both picked me up at the ferry port and drove me where I needed to be the next day.
I strongly recommend staying at Victoria House.
Vivienne and Tony are an extremely warm and welcoming couple and are eager to give tips for things to do around town. Tony was kind enough to ferry me to and from the harbour and Vivienne makes an excellent breakfast to start the day. The room was spacious and bright and I had a really relaxing stay.
Vivienne and Tony were outstanding, and their B&B was equally lovely! They were generous with their time, their home, their knowledge of the area, and even picked up our family at the ferry. We were only with them briefly, getting in late and getting out early, and they both went above and beyond to make sure every minute was pleasant. The breakfast was also excellent, particularly since we're all vegetarian and one of our kids is a fairly picky eater. Said picky eater absolutely raved about Vivienne's "breakfast mushrooms," and we left feeling like we'd had a too-brief stay with old friends.
This was our second visit to Victoria House B&B and once again we were looked after really well. There were 4 of us travelling (2 adult and 2 children) and the room was very comfortable and spacious. The house is off the main road so lovely and quiet and great for a peaceful nights sleep before a ferry trip and a long drive the next day. Vivienne provides a truly excellent full Irish breakfast with great quality ingredients. We will definitely stay again and certainly recommend Victoria House to other travellers. Thanks again! :)
