  • We spent a month in this beautiful apartment and it felt like home. The apartment itself is spacious and comfortable. The neighborhood is terrific, especially the patisserie on the square behind the building but all of the shops and restaurants were great to have nearby. We walked all over the city. How amazing is it to be able to walk to Notre Dame and Shakespeare & Co. in 15 minutes, or to the RER in 5? The hosts are impeccable. They will do anything you need but are otherwise inobtrusive. We loved, loved, loved living here. Thank you so much for everything, Marie Francoise and Pierre!

  • We had an excellent experience with this owner and property. The property is as advertised and more. It is lovely, well-located, and supplied with all essential needs and comforts. Marie is a genuine and thoughtful hostess providing several nice touches, e.g., fresh flowers, macarons, bottled water on the nightstand, and useful information about the apartment, neighborhood, and Paris. The neighborhood location was perfect and provided convenient transportation options for getting around the city including walking. We want to come back and soon!

  • This was an outstanding place to stay in a great neighborhood. The apartment is extremely spacious with a very comfortable living room, dining room and full kitchen with coffee, espresso pods, teas and other items in the pantry. One bedroom had a king-size bed and the other had twin beds. There were 3 full bathrooms and a washer/dryer. The apartment is attractively decorated and has a personal feel with hers family's furniture, collections, and a large library of French books. Marie has provided guidebooks and has put together booklets with suggestions and maps showing neighborhood restaurants and stores. Marie was here when we arrived and showed us how things work in the apartment. A bottle of champagne, Perrier and a large plate of macaroons were a special welcome. Marie was available by phone whenever we had a question. Her English is perfect. We definitely will return here. Linda, David, and Risa

  • We stayed in Isabel's apartment during this Easter break. First of all, the photos are a true review of its conditions. All the good things other people reviewed are true and I don't want to repeat them.

Marie not only responding emails very efficiently during the booking. She gave me a lot of useful info for booking Eiffel Tower etc and places of interests before we arrived. And she is also very helpful during our stay.
On our arrival we are greeted by Marie in person with flowers and champagne, and our flight is early in the morning! The flat is very well equipped with everything like you find in your home. For example, she prepared tissue boxes, take away tissues, umbrellas, washing powder, detergent etc.
At the end, she even helped out to book a taxi for us to airport. Although i don't need to ask her much while I'm there, I feel the security and warmth because she keeps in touch and ready to help out.

Thank you Marie, you really made our trip to Paris a memorable one, in your pretty Parisian apartment.

  • An outstanding residence. We would highly recommend.

  • We rented this apartment for one week this spring, along with another couple. The apartment looked very attractive and comfortable on the web site, but it was even nicer than we had expected. The location is excellent. The decor is tasteful and the apartment is spacious. The kitchen was particularly well stocked, both with cooking equipment and with stock items (sugar, cooking oil, vinegar, salt, etc.) We could not have been more pleased and would certainly rent it again were we to return to Paris.

  • We had a wonderful holiday in Paris, thanks in large part to being able to stay in Isabel's beautiful apartment. The apartment is spacious, elegant and has every comfort of home. The airy bedrooms and three bathrooms (with showers) allowed everyone to have their privacy. The apartment is wonderfully situated, a walkable distance to just about every quartier you would want to visit. The immediate neighbourhood has a very nice boulangerie (on St. Jacques) and a great coffee shop just around the corner (Cafe de la Nouvelle Marie). Marie, Isabel's mother, is a delightful and attentive (but not intrusive) hostess who was so generous in helping us with directions and even getting us a reservation at a restaurant at short notice, that we would probably not have been able to acheive ourselves. I have no hesitation in recommending this apartment and would definitely love to stay here again.

  • We had a fantastic vacation in Paris and Marie and Isabel's apartment was a huge part of that! Marie (Isabel's mom) was amazing! Any questions we had or help we needed making reservations, finding a shoe repair shop, etc…Marie was 100% reliable. She is such a pleasure to talk to and communicate with. She really made us feel right as home in the apartment. Everything is as described. The furniture is comfortable, the towels are soft, the washing machine is a helpful amenity. She even brought over a Nespresso machine with plenty of 'pods' when I told her how much I love that coffee.

Marie got us reservations at one of the best restaurants in Paris, same day! She helped us with recommendations of what was currently going on in Paris and how to get there. She was really like our personal concierge. We were sad to leave Paris! What amazing memories we have! Even the champagne, 'macarons' and long-stem roses for my birthday made me feel so special. We were a little unsure of what to expect when staying in someone else's home, but this experience was far better than any expectations! Merci Marie!

  • We had a wonderful stay. Everything was as represented and better. The apartment is well furnished and equipped with a rare full kitchen full cooktop, oven, dishwasher, side-by-refrigerator, disposal, even a trash compactor! Marie met us and explained everything plus leaving a book with many restaurant suggestions. The location worked well. It was close enough to our daughter but on a quiet street. The RER is close by and bus lines 21, 27, 84 and 86 are even closer. The Metro is also a short walk at the Cluny/la Sorbonne station. For our next trip to Paris, this apartment is on the top of our list if it is available.

  • We had a wonderful week in Paris at the end of July and Marie's apartment was perfect. I don't want to repeat what other guests already posted here but the place is really great and Marie and Pierre are good hosts. They waited for us even thought we were really late. They recommended Prestige as a cheap private shuttle from the airport instead of shared Blue shuttle. They give us a web site and help us made reservation to the Eiffel tower 2 months in advance and we did not wait in line for hours plus the top was closed for people buying tickets same day but not for us.
The apartment itself looks same as the pictures posted so no surprises there. Air conditioning is nice in July; hot water always nice for the kids (email hidden)ds could not get enough of the library books and games, which made them feel like they were home. The place is quiet and the doormen is helpful, although he only speaks french.
