The space
Our COVID-19 Sanitation cleaning procedure includes:
1. Washing our hands and wearing disposable sanitary gloves or rubber cleaning gloves
2. Our cleaning solutions are at least 70% alcohol
3. Cleaning only with disposable wipes. Using cotton or microfibre otherwise.
4. Using a color safe sanitizing spray to sanitize soft surfaces such as furniture, edges of curtains and decorative pillows
5. Disinfecting all light switches, windows
6. Disinfecting the thermostat, railings, garbages, and all surfaces
7. Washing all dishes/utensils
8. Disinfecting all appliances
9. Disinfecting remotes, blow dryers, cords, and any other surface or items in the home
We've been renovating and designing properties in urban Columbus the last several years. The Corner House was completely dilapidated when we found it and gut renovated it in 2016. After living in the space with our family for 2 years we decided to finally share it!
The living room is bright and airy with white painted brick and a comfy, Article couch. You'll find smart locks, a Nest thermostat, Amazon Alexa connected to Spotify, a smart TV with streaming services setup, and an NES Classic with wireless controllers.
NOTE: There is a shared wall with the other side of the duplex. You will hear the neighbors on occasion. We ask guests to adhere to quiet hours from 10pm-8am.
It's a 3 story duplex. On the second story there's a king bedroom, queen bedroom, and the home's only bathroom. The third story has a spacious king bedroom that includes a workspace and another bedroom with two twin beds.
All the beds have comfortable, memory foam mattresses, cozy comforters, and soft sheets. The king bedrooms each have a smart tv.
The kitchen is well equipped with pots, pans, dishes, silverware, and various appliances. We love great coffee! We stock high-end coffee beans that are used by our favorite local coffee shop, and we've included everything you need (plus instructions) to make the perfect pour over. We also have a Keurig with K-cups and great tea. But keep in mind we are close to many of the best restaurants, bakeries, and coffee shops in the city!
400mbps internet runs on the Eero home wifi system, so coverage will be fast and perfect throughout the home. There is also a washer and dryer on the second story.
NOTE: There is no off street parking available but plenty of street parking next to the Corner House.
Guest access
Guests have access to the whole unit (except for the basement) and private back patio.
Other things to note
We love having photographers shoot in our space! Inquire about timing and rates for your photoshoot sessions!
There is a shared wall between this unit and another and you will hear the neighbors at times. Guests must be conscious of this and keep noise to a minimum. Please observe quiet hours from 10pm-8am.
We do not allow parties of any kind. Only registered guests are allowed in the apartment at all times.
One of the king bedrooms and the double twin bedroom are on the 3rd story. Guests staying in those bedrooms should be comfortable with stairs.
