The space
Browns Annex offers two-bedrooms, a dining area, living room, bathroom and kitchen for up to 4 guests. To the rear of the annex is a decked area with outdoor furniture that is shared with the home owners.

We welcome a quiet, well-behaved dog at no extra charge. Only one furry friend allowed (sorry, no cats). Please keep your dog on the lead on the property. Guests can walk and toilet their dog in the paddocks on a lead.

Accommodation: master bedroom with double bed, another with two single beds.

Kitchen: Under counter fridge (no freezer), standalone cooking stove and oven, microwave, and washing machine. Kettle, toaster, cafetiere, cooking utensils, cutlery and crockery.

Starter supply of essentials provided:
Toiletries (bath gel, shampoo, toilet rolls)
Washing up and laundry detergent
Bed linen and towels

Location of property: Off A21, convenient for visiting local attractions. 2 mins drive or 15 mins walk to village, train station and bus stop. Village has a café and bakery, shops, pubs, restaurant, surgery, pharmacy, post office and vet. Please expect some traffic noise.

Location of annex within property: Situated next to main house with own entrance. Please see photo of property layout and boundary.

Restrictions: Non-staying guests are not permitted on the property. Guests should be mindful and respectful of other guests and wildlife who share the space. The fenced-in wooded area is reserved for guests in the shpeherd hut and shack cabin. No outdoor music allowed. Please supervise children outdoors and be considerate of other guests.

Sightseeing in 1066 Country: We recommend driving to enjoy the various attractions of 1066 Country High Weald AONB. E.g. 15 mins drive or less to Battle Abbey, Bodiam Castle, Pashley Manor Gardens, Darwell Wood, Scotney Castle and Carr Taylor Vineyard. 30 mins drive to Rye, Hastings, Camber Sands beach, Chapel Down Vinery and Herstmonceux Castle. Taxis/hackney cabs must be booked well in advance.
