Other Things to Note
There is only a single bed in the house. The rental is for one person only. Please note that the house is not available from end of October till spring time because the heating system is not powerful enough to cope with temperatures around or below zero degrees centigrade.
No pets allowed.
The room is a small annex to the house overlooking (and with direct access to) the garden. So I had my open little flat with kitchen, washing machine, bathroom etc. Very nice! And Ivan was very helpful and friendly.
Ivan's small house is the perfect solution for one person visiting Odense.
It's just 10 minutes walk from the city in a nice and quiet neighbourhood.
The old house in the garden has been completely renovated and even has underfloor heating.
You can open up and enjoy the small garden with apple trees etc.
The room was cleaned every single day I was there.
It was easy to contact Ivan, and with quick response.
The house is very nice and clean + I did not miss a thing as it is well-equipped.
The location is super - just a short walking distance to the city centre.
I will highly recommend this house!
I live in Odense in a big house together with my wife. Apart from the small house in the backyard we rent rent out two apartments. I have two university degrees, but I am partly retired.
During winter time I work as a consultant in Africa setting up small businesses for poor people and teaching business management. I have lived and worked in three African countries for about eleven years.
During summer time I am mostly at home attending to my house and my garden. I have travelled in many countries and I am curious about how people in other cultures live. I spend most of my leisure time reading books - particularly about political, economic, environmental and cultural issues.
