Downtown, not midtown, like a lot of places. This adorable cottage style decorated house has one Queen bed, a living room with big sofa, and one double bed and sunroom. Be around all the nightlife Mobile has to offer on Dauphin st, walk everywhere!
My house was the first one listed in Mobile on air bnb :) And now there are a lot listed, I see most are in mid town which is great, but more suburban. From my house you can walk to Dauphin st (or use my bike available) walk to the Civic Center or the Convention center easily, walk to the library and the park!!
When I travel, my entire house is available, but sometimes when home I can offer one-two rooms as well. It can easily sleep 8-10 people. It's about 2100 square feet. Very sizable!! It's decorated very shabby chic/European and New Orleans (where I'm from) in style,,very UNIQUE and COZY!.......There are hardwood floors throughout, gourmet kitchen, 3 fireplaces, tin roof, white wood floors in back part of the house, surrounded by lush vegetation in the serene sun room.
A really nice feature of my house that people seem to love (and I love) is the surround sound. It plays from your phone, I- pod, my stereo, or your lap top! Also, there is high speed internet/wi-fi and a big screen tv in the front room with netflix, you tube and a blue ray with lots of dvd's available.
There is beautiful British park down the street, a porch with rocking chairs, tree lined streets in this Historic district filled with older homes and Southern charm. Walk to everything! including Bay Fest, Art-Walk, and Mardi-Gras is right here, walk half a block!! At the end of the corner is the local bus, clean and cute little green and purple bus.
The house is centrally located to everything....Pensacola is 45 mins, Dauphin Island is 30 minutes, New Orleans is just 2 hrs, and Gulfport is 45 minutes.
Pets, babies and children welcome :)) there is plenty of room for everyone. Everyone loves my house the second they walk in!
wi fi, tv with netflix, bicycle, and full kitchen.
British park is just down the street, and lots of great walking with trees and historic homes nearby.
Yes, bus stop is at the corner of my street!
Neighborhood was very nice and location was ideal. We did not have heat but Aimee agreed to compensate some of the rent and brought snacks over to the house.
There was an issue with my gas which I since learned after research was a gas company error. I couldn't correct it over the weekend and was flying. This has never happened before nor will it ever happen again. I had snacks brought over by my husband and did everything I could to make Deanna's stay more enjoyable and she knew that, it was a complete fluke and I killed myself trying to fix it. She also had a bottle of wine on arrival.
Everything was as promised. The neighborhood was perfect, the house was amazing, and Aimee delivered a wonderful experience. It was such a great experience, I would like to move to that area.

The host greeted with a smile as soon as I arrived. She showed me where everything was in the house and gave me information about close local attractions. She was very thorough and I appreciated that. The house was immaculate and very well appointed and sits in a delightful upscale neighborhood.
Aimee's home was perfect - just what we needed! The pictures are very accurate of the home. The windows opening were ideal with beautiful weather (wouldn't want to leave open with small kids, of course!). Having a washer / dryer was great, so that we arrived home with all clean clothes -- a big plus when returning and going straight back to work. Bed was comfortable - especially for those who like a more firm mattress. Location was good - parking FANTASTIC! Locked, gated entrance; car felt secure parked there all weekend. Easy in/out with the remote provided. Back staircase or even elevator available (we didn't expect that - was nice with luggage and groceries one evening). Kitchen ideal for quick breakfast or evening snacks. Restaurant directly across the street was delicious - good wine and wonderful key lime pie! Aimee left a bottle of wine and dark chocolates -- which we thoroughly enjoyed and appreciated. A nice touch.
Highly recommend home - all you need, and Aimee ensures easy delivery / return of keys and remote. Very prompt response to emails regarding availability -- or phone texts. THANKS AGAIN FOR EVERYTHING - and good luck with your Mom.

I'm a Corporate Flight Attendant from New Orleans. La. I've lived abroad, including Denmark and Bolivia and have traveled the world on my own and with my company, Net Jets ( A Berkshire Hathaway luxury jet company owned by Warren Buffet) . Also, I have an English degree from UNO and working on my Graduate degree. I taught ESL for two years in New Orleans and also teach English via Skype to students in Kazakhstan, Russia, Japan and Kuwait. I love meeting people from different cultures. My homes are very unique with their New Orleans and European style flair. Like no other home, I am sure!
Also, my husband is from Croatia and we have a home in Omis, Croatia which I've just listed. I love to host people from all over the world and look forward to helping everyone I can to enjoy there stay in any of our places!
