This neighborhood is what is known as "North of Princess" - although this tag has a negative connotation, you'll find yourself pleasantly surprised by beautiful well kept homes, lovely neighbors, children playing, and friendly (and some entertaining) passer-bys.
We tend to travel on foot or bicycle to get downtown. But we are close to bus routes, and a taxi downtown is $6 or approximately $20 to the mall.

We didn't have time to meet our hosts but they prepared our bedroom with a dedicated attention. They also let us advice and recommendation of address to lunch.
The house is very well decorated and conform to the photos.
Maybe the next we will have time to meet you.
It was a nice stay at Steph's home. She showed us around the house. That was nice.
The place is really close to the downtown city Kingston. It was only a 10 minutes walk. Really close and easy to find. :)
Passage rapide mais très jolie chambre, Nous avons pu déjeuner dans le jardin..
Nous recommandons l'endroit!
Such a perfect experience staying at Stephanie's place. She is a fabulous host, her place is fantastic and exceeded my expectations. I would recommend Stephanie's place to anyone. Thank you Stephanie!
This was the second time we've used AirBnB, and the second time that it was better than any hotel could hope to be. Also the second time that our hosts seemed super-cool and we wished they could have been around to meet.
Anyway, the room was comfortable, stylish, and functional, we were able to walk to the part of town we were visiting Plus, Stephanie provided lots of thoughtful extras to add to our experience.
My wife and I are trying to come up with theories why AirBnB hosts are so much cooler than average (based on our admittedly small sample). My oen theory is that it takes above-average courage to open one's home, and that courage also begets cool.
But I digress. Bottom line, do stay here if you come to Kingston. (And do come to Kingston! Cool town, great food!)
