I have my own space in the basement and am available by text, email or phone if the need arises.
Very eclectic, mixed neighborhood. Nice energy
G, A or C trains at Clinton/Washington
Air conditioning is for comfortable sleeping at nights and is allowed for 12 hrs each day which is more than enough time to sleep, wake up and get dressed comfortably.
For my visit to NYC I wanted to find a place in Brooklyn, I have previously stayed in Manhattan in the past. Waldemar's flat apartment was perfect and also offers quaint furniture and fitting and a very quiet location (I could not hear the normal night hum of a city with police sirens etc.) within easy reach of the main MTA system, being only a short walk couple of blocks away at Clinton & Washington Aveson the G train. Waldemar was fully responsive to my needs and was the perfect host for my short stay with him.
I stayed here for a work trip, so was just looking for a quiet and comfortable place to crash after long days. The neighborhood was nice and accessible to Manhattan and other parts of Brooklyn, and the room was clean and looked as pictured. However, I would not stay here again. On two weeknights, Waldemar had loud friends over — one night they were really loud until 5AM. As a result, I found it very difficult to actually sleep or feel any sense of relaxation. It may have just been the host's unfortunate timing or a carelessness, but staying here made me feel uncomfortable, frustrated, and very, very tired!
The room is huge and beautiful. Waldemar was so sweet and welcoming; helpful to point out directions, flexible and available upon our unplanned late arrival, and a great in conversation. Highly recommended!
Another very satisfactory stay at Waldemar's place. Waldemar is most accommodating... great conversationalist with wealth of life experiences. The room is one of my all-time favorites from Airbnb stays... impeccably clean, thoughtfully furnished ... it's like going/coming home.
Very fast replies to my emails before arrival.
Room exactly as shown.
Easy to move around, but far from Manhattan, unless you want to spend the whole day out and use your room just to sleep.
Great place, quiet and convenient location. Waldemar is a nice, laid back host and has everything set up very comfortably. He is a seasoned resident ho can offer any advice to the area you need.
Would recommend to anyone who needs to stay in the area.
Nothing more I could ask for. Large room with own bathroom, nice comfy bed, close to all the trains and awesome coffee shops and restaurants around the corner. Waldemar's been a great host and would always choose to stay here again. Thanks again for staying up late for my late night arrival!
