Cedarville, California, United States

With downtown within walking distance of Fairview Lodging, explore the unique establishments offering delicious foods, craft beers, espressos, and local pastries. There are hiking trails close by, bird watching opportunities, biking on and off road, and depending on the time of year, local barbecues to attend. Take time to meander through "Good Things", "The Mercantile", and "Divine Design"--offering old, new, antique, vintage, and homemade items. A short drive up and down the valley is a way to learn about the beauty and geography of the area. You'll encounter the small towns of Eagleville, Lake City, and Fort Bidwell--allow time to stop at the hotel and restaurant where great food is served!

Bill and I are a retired couple. Bill worked for the US Forest Service for 37 years on the Modoc National Forest. I was a teacher for 10 years, beginning after our three children had left home for college and their own careers. We enjoy walking, gardening, and visiting friends and family. We are currently involved with a 100 year old ranch house, which is located on our 40 acres not far from town. Bill and I tend to keep active and like meeting new people.
