Had a great experience here! The directions were easy to follow and the place was very comfortable. Also, the room has a GREAT view of the city. She was soooo nice and helpful. Highly recommend this spot.
I had a absolute wonderful time. Arriving in Japan early in the morning I was very happy to discover how easy it was to locate the accommodation. Once I arrived i felt very looked after and included in all the hosts movements of which personally for me meant a lot to be included within the culture I was seeking to experience. I would happily recommend this accommodation to anyone and everyone thinking of traveling to Japan. My host and the location of the accommodation allowed me to experience moments and opportunities I would have never come across traveling alone or even in a hostel with other back Packers. Sincerely wish I stayed longer.
Y and K's house was cosy, comfortable and had a great view. It was conveniently located near several cheap restaurants - we loved the Yakitori stores - where they sold skewers for 60 yen each. Y and K were wonderful hosts, Y always had breakfast prepared for us and drinks/snacks readily available when we were home. We got to know both well and spent good times together out to dinner, movies and just chatting away. The room and bed was very comfortable too! They lent us there electric bikes which we got to explore the riverside park nearby. Y was very attentive and informative, providing maps, directions and places to visit. Highly recommend this place if you are in Tokyo, not only a comfortable stay but you get to meet Y and K who are wonderful hosts - whom we are proud to call them our friends now.
While Kaji was on a business trip, Yoshiko was a wonderful host. Her instructions for finding her place and getting in was very easy. She offered food and drink whenever I was back in the apartment and also suggested an itinerary during my first night.
She has a slew of Tokyo tour guide pamphlets and transportation maps that made wandering around the major tourist areas very very easy. Her suggested itinerary included all of the major points that a friend had suggested and so was a very unbiased and good suggestion.
She was also very easy to talk to and conversation was very easy to come by. She was willing to accommodate all of my requests (such as particular foods I wanted to try, etc.) whenever applicable.
When Kaji returned from his business trip, he was very nice and extremely helpful, though I only had the pleasure of seeing him for a day and a half.
Staying with Yoshiko and Kaji was a very fun and great experience.
