The neighborhood feels kind of magical. It is quiet and feels removed from the traffic, with huge trees and lots of birds. But the river is right across the street, with easy access to kayaking and rafting.
We love being within within easy walking distance of the Rio Theater -- the historic movie theater that features first run movies and holds regular Movie and Dinner events.
Among the activities that are available in the area are biking, swimming, tennis, golf, kayaking and rafting, winery tours, art galleries and open studios, restaurants, health and beauty spas, bird watching, shopping (including outlet malls,) miniature golf, scenic drives, boating, antiquing, whale watching and horseback riding.
While there is a Sonoma County bus stop at the end of the street, unless you're biking up here, you will likely need to have a vehicle.
Please, no smoking on the property. This is a getaway home for two, and while we welcome you to have friends visit for a meal, the septic system won't support a crowd.
(Per Sonoma County Code Section 26-28-120 -- Our TOT Certificate is 1332N. Please observe quiet hours between 10pm and 7am. The maximum number of guests allowed is 2, and the maximum number of vehicles allowed is 1.)
