One of 2 exceptional holiday houses in Lamington National Park. Sleeps up to 4 adults in two bedrooms each with en suite plus 2 children in a "kids' loft". (Note: kids love the loft but it is not recommended for adults) Groups of more than 4 can hire the adjacent East House as well.

Bookings are accepted for children 4 years and over. The house and grounds are not suitable for younger children, toddlers or babies.

The space
Three decks overlook the Coomera Valley. Multiple windows bring the outside in so you can watch the changing weather from your mountain eyrie. A gas fireplace and bedroom heaters keep the house warm in winter. At 900 meters above sea level the house is always 5 degrees cooler than the coast or Brisbane in summer. Air conditioning is not needed and ceiling fans add to the mountain breezes.

Bookings available for:
A. Late checkout weekend. 2 nights. Checkout up to 6pm Sun.
B. Long weekend. Arr. Fri. dep Mon.
C. 4 night midweek. Arr. Mon. dep. Fri. Special offer: 10% discount.
D. 2 nights midweek arr. Mon or Wed. Regular rate.
E. 7, 11 or 14 days from Mon or Fri. Special offer: 15% discount.

Note: In your request, type in the correct number of people, including children, so the correct number of beds/rooms can be paid for and prepared for you.

Guest access
Guests have sole use of the house including 1 to 2 bedrooms and kids' loft as reserved. If you don't reserve and pay for the second bedroom, it is locked and not available to anyone else. The laundry in a separate building is shared with one other house. The spa further up the ridge, is shared by both houses but not at the same time. A simple blackboard system allows you to book whatever time you want.

Other things to note
Multiple windows, and decks allow you to interact with nature as much as possible. There are no curtains to hide the views so you might like to take eye masks if you prefer to wake in the dark. The house is inside the National Park so pets are not permitted, and the house is NOT a party house. Most visitors to the mountain top go there for the peace and quiet.
Smoking is not permitted in the house, in the surrounding garden area, on the adjacent Binna Burra land or in the surrounding National Park.

Neighborhood highlights

The house is inside Lamington National Park, about 500 meters from famous Binna Burra Lodge, gateway to the National Park. one of Queensland's oldest and most loved National Parks. The house gives you easy access to 147km of walking tracks leading through upland sub-tropical rainforest, eucalypt forest and heath country to dozens of waterfalls, mountain lookouts, wind eroded caves and so many other points of interest.

Lamington National Park in on the northern slope of the enormous Mt Warning caldera, considered one of 13 significant landscapes in Australia.

And if all that is not enough, the area is part of the Scenic Rim - judged by Lonely Planet as one of the top ten destinations in the world for 2022. It's easy to understand why so many visitors return to the mountain top every year for decades through 3 or 4 generations. In one week you just scratch the surface of all that the National Park and the Scenic Rim have to offer.

Guests can be entirely self catering or have all or some meals at the nearby Binna Burra Teahouse or Groom's Cottage , both about 400 metres by car or on foot, or at Beechmont Estate, 4km down the road or one of several coffee shops on Beechmont.
