Welcome to Minneapolis! Stay in this spacious one bedroom apartment right in the center of Uptown. This unit was just renovated (Jan 2018) and features a brand new kitchen and bathroom. You will be walking distances from the lakes, the cities best restaurants, and the exciting Uptown nightlife.

This is a perfect space for a business traveler, couples looking for a romantic getaway, or someone simply looking to explore the coolest pocket of Minneapolis.

The space
This AirBnB is located on the second floor of an impeccably maintained Victorian home that has been converted to apartments.

Inside:
The apartment is cozy and has everything you need for an enjoyable and relaxing trip. The bedroom features a plush queen bed, with a full closet that includes hangers, an iron / ironing board, as well as emergency items such as a fire extinguisher and first aid kit. The living room features a sleeper couch and a 43” Smart TV against the wall.

The unit features a full kitchen, with a gas burning stove and a refrigerator / freezer. The kitchen includes everything required to enjoy a meal cooked at home (pots / pans, cooking utensils, plates, cups, glasses, silverware). Additionally, the kitchen has a coffee pot and a stock of coffee.

The bathroom has plentiful fresh towels, as well as shampoo, conditioner, body wash, and a hairdryer.

Other Specifics:
- Early Check-In / Late Check-Out: Due to our cleaning crew needing time to turn over the units, we cannot offer early check-in or late check-out. We do, however, allow guests to drop their bags off at noon on the day of their reservation.
- We are pet friendly! We just charge a one-time cleaning fee of $20
- Free laundry in the basement
- This home is powered by 100% wind energy via Xcel's WindSource.
- Parking: This is an extremely popular area of Minneapolis. Parking is extremely available during the day, but becomes more difficult to find in the evening. Guests have sometimes had to park a few blocks from the unit.

Where you’ll be

Minneapolis, Minnesota, United States

Fantastic location in "Uptown" Minneapolis, perfectly situated between downtown Minneapolis and Calhoun Square, the main shopping area of uptown. Nearby, you'll find great restaurants, bars, and coffee shops, as well as a convenience store (one block) and a community Co-op grocery store (two blocks).

Some of our favorites (within 4 blocks):
- The Lowry: trendy bar/restaurant but not too upscale. Great HH.
- Fifth Element: Local hip hop record store owned by Atmosphere's Sean Daley (Slug)
- Liquor Lyle's: Classic hole-in-the-wall bar
- Mortimer's: Great place for some Foosball & darts
- The Wedge: Community co-op with an organic & local focus.
- Caffetto Coffee: A MPLS staple.
- Burch Steak & Pizza: Upscale, great food.
- Bradstreet Crafthouse: "Speakeasy" atmosphere
- Sebastian Joe's: One of the most famous ice cream cafes.

Walk-Bike Score:
- Walk: 92 (Walker's Paradise)
- Transit: 62 (Good Transit)
- Bike: 86 (Very Bikeable)

Distances to:
- Lake of the Isles: 0.6 miles
- Loring Park & Walker Arts Center: 0.6 miles
- Downtown Minneapolis: 1.5 miles
- Calhoun Square: 1 mile

Hey, I'm Kristine! I am originally from Madison, WI but moved to Minneapolis for college and been here ever since! I absolutely love to travel and prefer to use AirBnB to get a more authentic experience. When at home, I love to walk around the Minneapolis lakes with my dog, Riggins. I also enjoy trying out new restaurants - my current favorites are Bar La Grassa and Red Cow. I look forward to hosting you for your stay in Minneapolis; please reach out with any questions you have!
