Vraiment tres chouette! On a beaucoup aime l endroit, tres propre, tres pratique et a cote du centre ville. Je recommande fortement!
Carolina and Inigo did everything possible to make us feel comfortable and welcome. They were lovely to talk to and gave us some excellent recommendations, directions and information about the neighbourhood. Our stay was enjoyable and comfortable- the rental had everything we expected and was clean.
I found the neighbourhood louder than I expected- dogs, construction, roosters etc, but overall it was a very pleasant experience.
The dust and sand from the beach accumulated quickly and left the floors feeling dirty- a broom and dustpan in the place would have been the only thing I'd say the house was lacking.
The location was excellent- easy to access the beach and well within range of many different restaurants and grocery stores.
I would recommend this location to anyone looking for a simple, chill beach house.
The hosts were incredibly friendly and accommodating. They offered breakfast which was great. Good value stay! The rooms are kept cool with fans. WiFi was available. The host kindly let me borrow his phone to extend my rental car, that was a huge help!
Carolina and Inigo were incredible hosts. The apartment was nice, and they helped us set up our cell phone (since our Spanish was not up to task) and suggested really nice places to check out in Manual Antonio. Would highly recommend them! Thanks for having us.
Our stay at Titico House was very nice and Caro and Iñigo were both very helpful and kind hosts. The place is perfectly located between Quepos and the park, and one can get around with public buses easily. We had a wonderful stay here and would come back anytime. One of the previous reviews mentions the construction going on. While they did start working early every morning, which was rather noisy, this has nothing to do with the house or the hosts. Also they seem to be working fast, which means that a paved road with side walks will be done in no time. The place provided everything we needed and we felt very comfortable there. We thought it was a great place to stay in in Manuel Antonio!
Inigo (we never saw Carolina) was surprised to see me. He didn't know that Linda and I were coming, that we had rented a car, or that we had called the day before (as per instructions) to make sure that all was ready. We had talked with Carolina. Seemed like a communication breakdown.
There were a couple of things not mentioned in the description. The directions were not completely clear and we had some trouble locating the place. It's experiencing very heavy construction 4 feet from the front door, 6 days a week, from 7:00am to 5:00pm. This means keeping the front of the house closed to try to keep out the dust and some of the noise. Made the place sweltering even with fans and couldn't sit out on the hammock. There is no secure place to park on the property. Their guard dog, who roams the front of their house when they are gone, is a barker, making sleep even harder on top of traffic up the road. It was not conducive to staying.
The neighborhood is one of the poorer ones in Quepos. Small gray water stream at the base of the crossroads and not much lighting once the sun goes down. The "Supermarket" is just a small local pulperia, not something you can count on for any real food supplies.
Wifi, which we really needed and was one of our choice criteria on this journey was off most of the time that we needed to use it.
