Great place, super people, helpful and fun to discuss with. Baboo their dog is just so cute!
Carolina and Boñi were great as hosts. Boñi showed me around immediately: the nearest ATM, the best restaurants (espescially for value), how to take use the buses, etc. both were extremely helpful. The house is exactly what I wanted for a solo Costa Rican adventure, but it is a little tucked away. It's not on the Main Street, but that's honestly a good thing. You just have to look far a bit the first time around. They don't have A/C, but the windows are open and they have plenty of fans. They'll even make you breakfast in the mornings, for around $5. I really enjoyed staying with these two. If I'm back in Costa Rica, I wouldn't hesitate to be back with them.
Our stay at Carolina and Inigo's was really so lovely. The house is a charming little place with a beachy vibe (at least we thought so). It was sunny, clean, and perfect for our needs. The bed was comfortable and the netting kept us unbitten. The shower was clean and we always had hot water which was great even though we came during the hottest month! We ate delicious breakfasts of fresh sliced fruit, toast with different jams, granola, and yummy coffee. Mouthwatering. We were close to the bus stop which takes you pretty much anywhere you'd need to go, the supermarket, sodas, etc. Carolina and Inigo themselves were very hospitable, sociable, and lovely people. Their dogs Bambu and Milo really are as great as everyone mentioned, especially Bambu; such a ladies' man. My only complaint was that our stay was too short. As soon as we left for our next accommodations, we missed Titico House (and Manuel Antonio) terribly. At the price we paid, we received much more in return. Thank you Carolina and Inigo for everything. We wish you both a lot of happiness, good health, and pura vida!
*** Side note to visitors of the area - - we strongly recommend Emilio's, Cafe Milagro, Rico Tico, and Agua Azul. Though, Inigo had plenty of recommendations as well.
They were very communicative and helpful, met up with us at the football field and took us to their place five minutes walk from there, the place itself is not much to speak of, typical Costa Rican but entirely pleasant with a large comfortable bed. We had no issues and overall a very pleasant stay.
Caro and Iñigo are very kind people, they made us so easy to get to the apartment which is well located and they were very helpful and pacient with the advices for first-time visitors. The place is very clean, they have a fridge, fans, a nice bed... We found all the necessary to have a very nice stay.
Just consider that is 7 minutes away from the beach by bus and more than 20 minutes by walking (something that I wouldn't do cuz there's no a path walk for pedestrians). Consider 315 colones (very cheap indeed) for each ride by bus and 500 colones for a shared cab (when u need it after 10 pm). I would pick this place again!
Thank you Carolina & Iñigo for your hospitality during our stay in Manuel Antonio!!! Apt is clean and location is perfect between Quepos and M Antonio National Parque. Best wishes and we'll miss your puppy Bamboo :)))
