Fantastic place to stay. Polly was friendly and welcoming, giving us great tips on how to find places and the best restaurants around. My first AirBnB experience and I couldn't be happier with our stay.
We had a pleasant stay at Polly's home in the heart of Cardiff. It is a good location, an easy 15 minute walk to the centre of the city. We never met Polly, since she and her partner were out of town while we were in the house. However, she went out of her way to leave us some baking, fruit and supplies to prepare a nice breakfast.
The guest room on the second floor is small but the bed was comfortable the two of us. The shared bathroom is conveniently located beside the bedroom.
I was in Cardiff 9 nights for the Singer of the World Competition and was made to feel most welcome by Polly and Simon. The kitchen was large and comfortable. And very very quiet to sleep and also quiet in the day. It is a healthy walking distance from the downtown and the concert venues I had to go to, never had to take a bus, very close to excellent food shopping and restaurants. I saw my hosts perhaps three times in the 9 days since they were gone by the time I got up and in bed by the time I got back from the competitions. It was a very enjoyable experience and I would definitely want to stay there again should I go back to Cardiff in two years for the next competition.
The bed was very comfortable. I was alone so happy in the small room with little wiggle room.
This was a wonderful place to stay. I was out early and back late, working at the University of Cardiff, so I only met Polly briefly on the first night. The bed was very nice, the shower was perfect, and the simple art tasteful. Very quiet too. The neighborhood is about a half hour walk from the University, next to a beautiful old church.
A beautiful house in a peaceful enclave of Cardiff. The house was very clean, comfortable and well presented. The shower is particularly good! Polly and her partner are very friendly and hospitable and made me feel very welcome in their home.
There were 2 places in Cardiff with THE same address!!! We should hace followed Polly's indications. The place is well located within walking distance to downtown Cardiff and good for an overnight stop.
Polly's and Simon's place was truly a home away from home. Comfortable, clean space; friendly, helpful hosts; quiet neighbourhood, but close to shops, cafes, restaurants, and pubs; a short fifteen-minute walk to the city centre. Simon's homemade bread and Polly's own marmalade were special treats! Highly recommended.
