No smoking in the house.
We thoroughly enjoyed staying at Polly's house. Both Polly and Simon were both extremely warm and welcoming and the house itself felt so homely and comfortable to be in.
The description on the site is accurate, I was satisfied with the overall experience.
The house is nicely located and beautifully decorated, and although the owner was not as welcoming and friendly as previous airbnb experiences, and the place was not particularly clean, I can recommend it for a short stay.
Key was in the key safe as described.
Left our bag in the room and went straight out.
Met Simon when we returned and he explained that he would be out early in the morning and would leave breakfast out for us to do ourselves. Cereal and toast with home made bread was fine.
Room was fine and mattress was very comfortable, even looked for make of mattress to get one for home!
House was in a quiet area, 20 mins ish walk to town centre, and we were made to feel welcome.
The welcoming was really good! Great hosts and really a good stay with Polly and Simon, they were kind and helped me with everything I needed, the house was warm and comfortable, the neighbourhood was quiet and beautiful as well as quite diverse and cosmopolitan, with many different kind of restaurants close to the house, and some stores and shops too. They are an open minded couple with music, art, literature interests, happy to have interesting conversations about many different topics. They are experienced hosts so they know how to do it really good. And the best of all, is the daily homemade bread for breakfast done by Simon, who is a really master of the bread. Thank you so much to you both for your kindness! I hope to see you soon!
Warm, friendly welcome, lovely breakfast, would recommend Polly's place.
It was a pleasure to return to Polly's place. I look forward to staying again at some point. A great stay in a fun part of Cardiff!
