And our new 3rd unit is now available in the same building
Welcome to one of the nicest 1 Bedrooms in San Francisco! San Francisco is 7 miles wide by 7 miles long, in fact a very popular San Francisco lifestyle magazine you should check out while you are in town is called 7x7. Well now that you know this interesting fact about our wonderful city picture a SQUARE that is 7 miles wide and 7 miles long. Now look at the dead center of that square, the most center point, equidistant to any location on that square, in San Francisco that most center point is exactly where our amazing AirBnb rental is located! It doesn't get any better than this if you want a great spot to explore the city. Don't believe me, well....click the MAP tab above!
Anyway onto the listing:
The building is unique in that we as are not only owners who rent out the building we also have lived in the building and actually lived in this unit. This has been our home....and now it is available for your enjoyment.
Some of the Nicest things we love about the Unit:
-Nice kitchen for cooking in with tons of space and charm

As for the neighborhood, this probably one of the coolest places to live in the city.
Falletti Foods - Our Home away from home - you can throw a baseball from our house and hit this amazing grocery store and shopping center
BiRite Market - Go to Amazon to check out their great books on food, or just walk in as we are 3 blocks away and try some of their amazing sea salt ice cream!
Nopalito - One of SF's hippest and best restaurants
Delessio Market- Amazing bakery and precooked meals
Regazza - Amazing hot new pizza place
New Boxing Gym
Palmyra - Awesome Mediterranean food
Little Chihuahuas - Great Taqueria
A few other near by highlights
Nopa Farmers Market - Our Favorite Place for sundays - This is actually 3 blocks away
The Independent - Great place to catch shows
NOPA - Awesome restaurant
Madrones - Awesome infused vodka bar
Within 4 blocks of the house you probably have another 200 great bars, restaurants, gyms, yoga studios, and stores. Yet the neighborhood is really quiet and mellow as it 1 block off the action.
Like I said this is an amazing place to live and we feel so lucky to enjoyed the space and now it is your opportunity to as well.
Anyway that is just about it. We look forward to your stay! Also check out our other Luxury 1BR property located at :
I did not stay with the host.
Darius and Maria were very timely in their responses. They provided lots of good recommendations especially Nopalito and Delfina for some good eats! The neighborhood has a lot of great character and the house is beautiful.
Darius & Maria have a lovely apt in San Francisco. It was comfortable for our family of 4 and had everything we needed for our stay. Location was central and was close walk to some nice restaurants.
Loved this place!
Everything was spotless, beautiful linen and very comfortable bed. Quirky interior with nice art work and cool pieces throughout the whole place.
Perfect position to explore San Fran, with transport close by and lots of cool restaurants within walking distance.
We would certainly stay here again!
Thank you !
Thank you Maria and Darius for providing such a perfect apartment, cozy, ecclectic, great location, public transportation nearby, parks, great restaurants, grocery stores. The neighborhood was away from the maddening tourist crowds which made it not only quiet but gave a feeling of what it would be like to live there.
As for the shower and its quirky operation, we just laid the hand held sprayer in the tub so we wouldn't get soaked...perfect.
The owners were professional, quick to respond, flexible, easy to work with. The place was great - even better than we expected. We loved the location and would gladly stay here again.
Parking was challenging, our first struggle with staying here. It took 30 minutes when we arrived after our long drive to San Francisco, to find spots for our two cars. On average it took 15-30 minutes to find parking each day, and we still ended up with a parking ticket. We struggled with the constant street noise. Even with earplugs, we did not sleep through a single night because of the sirens and motorcycles and cars - we were there five nights and were exhausted by the time we left San Francisco. The thermostat and water heater too make noises throughout the night.
The kitchen is very basic, it could use a microwave. The bathroom is remodeled, but tiny. The shower was tricky and ended up soaking the floor each day because the hand sprayer would go off when the knob was turned.
This was not a restful place to stay, we would not recommend it to anyone in need of a relaxing vacation, and especially not someone with traveling with small children.
As I mentioned to Anandit his complaints really are geared more towards city living than our apartment. Our apartment is in a semi busy part of the city, but is not on any main streets and compared to most of the city is fairly quiet. I lived in the building for 10 years slept in the same apartment that he and his family did and slept with the windows open every night without ear plugs and was never woken up once from noise. The windows are double pane double hung wooden windows, pretty much the most quiet windows money can buy. I should also mention that we lived in this building with our 4 year old and 6 month old before we left, so the space is very kid (website hidden) is surprising to read this review after receiving 63 other very positive reviews.Different strokes for different folks I guess. I would suggest reconsidering San Francisco and as a quiet weekend getaway, possibly Half Moon Bay, Mendocino, Napa, Bolinas, Monterrey, or Yosemite might be a better more relaxing choice.
The reservation was canceled 3 days before arrival. This is an automated posting.
This place was great. Great location. Super comfortable, clean space. I'd have no reservations recommending this room (or the other rooms in they rent in the building).
Great experience, everything pretty clean and cozy.
very nice neighborhood with restaurants and markets, the only downside is that is a little far away from Downtown, if you're new to the city can cost you a little connected with transportation .
We will repeat without a Doubt
thanks Maria and Darius.
