Neighborhood highlights

Conveniently located off HWY 2, the Leavenworth Chalet is very easy to find and access. It's a sleepy neighborhood of trees with nature all around. It's quiet, aside from occasional train/highway noise, with only two other houses nearby. Amenities are 5 min drive to Cole's Corner Mini Mart and 10-20 min drive to Leavenworth, Stevens Pass and the quaint town of Plain.

My work: Joe works in the automotive industry, and Kim is a healthcare professional.
We’re Joe and Kim, Seattle natives with a passion for creating your favorite stays in Leavenworth, Seattle and Joshua Tree! It's been our dream to create these spaces for you, which we also enjoy visiting with our friends and family. Our business is Gloc Haus (pronounced "House"): a family-owned and operated collection of properties with a drive for excellent hospitality. We fell in love with hosting when we began operation of our Leavenworth Chalet, located in the Cascade Mountains of Washington State. Being able to share a great home base for mountain adventures with others and hearing so many wonderful stories from our satisfied guests, inspired us to build on our ideas of how great an Airbnb stay could be. Next, we created Belvidere Haus: a custom-built Tiny House in West Seattle. Thoughtfully designed to provide a tranquil experience with a blend of modern and rustic touches, which our guests have adored. Discovering the high-desert of Joshua Tree drew us to the idea of designing a peaceful desert respite: Hi-Desert Haus, a stunning rambler just 10 mins from JTNP entrance. Kim and I are passionate creatives, high-school sweethearts, parents of awesome kids and avid snowboarders. We live life to seek outdoor odysseys with family and friends. In our spare time we love to recondition and recreate spaces, have romantic dates, and photograph our life. We look forward to hosting you at one of our homes for a memorable and comfortable getaway!
