WHERE IT IS
Most Galveston beach houses sit on the West End, which is a thirty minute drive back into town every time you want dinner, groceries or the Strand. From here all of it is minutes away, and the beach walkover is fifty feet from the steps.

• Natural gas fire pit with a stone wrap-around bench, good for marshmallows

• Beach chairs, umbrellas, wagons, sand toys and kites for the kids
• Parking for 6 cars in the driveway, with more room on the cul-de-sac if your group arrives in a convoy

SELF CHECK-IN, any hour
The entry doors have keypad locks and we program a personal code for your stay, so you let yourselves in whenever you land. No key handover, no waiting on us.

THE HOT TUB, $175 per stay, optional
After every stay we drain the tub, scrub it, refill it with fresh water and balance the chemicals. It takes about three hours and we do it for every single guest, so nobody ever steps into water someone else sat in.
About half our guests come for the beach and never open it. Folding that into the nightly rate would mean those families pay for something they never use, so we keep it separate. Tell us when you book or any time before you arrive and it will be clean, warm and waiting.

THE ELEVATOR, $150 per stay, optional
Houses on the water in Galveston are built up on pilings, the way the code requires here, which is why beachfront homes stand tall and the front door sits at the top of a long flight of stairs. The elevator makes that climb optional. If you want it for your stay, message us and we will set it up.

Other things to note
SIGNING, about two minutes
Every stay is covered by a short term rental agreement: property details, house rules and cancellation policy in one document. It arrives by DocuSign the moment you book, so you sign it from your phone or laptop in a couple of minutes and send a photo of a valid ID with it. We ask for both within 48 hours. It comes by email rather than in the Airbnb chat only because Airbnb messages cannot carry attachments.The guest who books must be 30 or older, and must be one of the people staying in the house.

WEATHER
If the island is placed under a mandatory evacuation order for your dates, we refund you in full. A rainy forecast is not the same thing and is not grounds for a refund, so if you are booking months ahead and your plans could move, travel insurance is worth the small cost.

MINIMUM STAY
Three nights over holidays and through the summer.

The hot tub ($175) and the elevator ($150) are optional add-ons for the stay. Let us know before arrival if you want either.
