This was a beautiful and very nice place to stay. We felt very welcome and Cynthia and Julia were really nice. I would highly recommend this home for a stay or for an event - It is exquisite.
This is a truly lovely place to stay. We brought our bikes and biked through the orchards down the road. Heavenly. Pool was still cold but we took a plunge anyway. The hostess here is still getting the hang of things, but she's very helpful. A mile down the road is a soul food BBQ. Do not miss!!!! The home and grounds are immaculate and a true pleasure to spend time in. We recommend this B&B
We rented this historical home when we came to Modesto to celebrate my Aunt’s 99th birthday. My brother and sisters all stayed with us in this amazing house. Each bedroom was tastefully decorated and very comfortable. There was a lovely suite included which could be closed off for privacy if desired. My aunt was thrilled to have a family dinner on a formal dining room table with cut glass water glasses. The house has many sitting rooms and plenty of nice places to congregate outside by the swimming pool, on the decks, or on the spacious, well-kept lawns. The kitchen was well stocked with dishes, appliances, cooking and serving utensils. Everything was well maintained and very clean. Of great importance was the welcoming attitude of the owners. They literally made us feel at home. We liked it so much we definitely plan to return next year.
Great facility and a team who's super easy to do business with!
We didn't just stay in the home, we hosted a catered lunch for 45. Lots of room, a stately presentation and very comfortable spaces. everyone comfortably fit inside and no one felt crammed.
Loved it! Cynthia and Julie were great. I highly recommend this location.
We loved our stay at the Crow Mansion!
Ten family members gathered for a graduation and reunion. The house is family and group friendly - with lots of nooks and sitting areas in which to gather or be private.
It is well appointed with cookware, serve ware- every thing you need for indoor or outdoor eating. We made many easy great meals and found the kitchen easy to use and well stocked.
The grounds are lovely, beautifully landscaped and well maintained.
The pool is well maintained with a safety fence when needed. We were sorry it was too chilly to swim.
The seating is ample for a large group. Nice big dining table for big dinners. Comfy beds and bedding. Plush towels. The decor is totally fun and interesting.
All together a great place for special occasions- hosts went all out with many extra touches that made us feel welcomed and appreciated.
Location convenient to downtown, eateries, movies, other venues, convention center, etc. We hope to return before long!
Julie, the home's caretaker could not do enough for us and was extremely helpful. Thanks you Julie and Cynthia for a beautiful four days! You have created a welcoming Mansion!

We are still new at this but I think we are doing pretty well at it so far!
We had a family of ten stay in our home for 5 days and they loved the house and the grounds, they enjoined having their coffee out by the pool in the morning and sipping wine by the outdoor fireplace in the evening! We really enjoined having them and we hope they will return in the future for another stay. We work hard at making the house as comfortable as possible and tried to make sure we had all the necessary amenities for their use. We are looking forward to having you stay as well guest and hope that you will love the house as much as we do!
