The apartment looked just like in the pictures and was absolutely beautiful!
It was perfectly clean and well equipped. The only negative part about the place was the small shower and that it was on the third floor wihout a lift. Those things didn't bother us though.
The location is perfect!! 5 minutes from Plaza Catalunya where you have 4 metro lines and plenty of busses. Also you can reach many places by walking.
I would absolutely recommend this place!
We were very well received, very warm welcome. The apartment was very clean, everything was on order, perfect service, the terrace is amazing but take some spray against mosquitoes haha ! I recommend this apartment for sure!

The apartment was great for our large group. Plenty of space and bathrooms. Location was fantastic, right near the centre of things whilst being on a quiet street. Host was easy to get in touch with, ask questions of etc.
Wonderful apartment. Exactly as advertised. Comfortable and large, accomodates quite a few people -- 7 or 8. Three separate bedrooms and a living room pull out. Clean everywhere, really well equipped kitchen ( although I always wish for better knives ) and the terrace is just fantastic. You can see Sagrada Familia towers from here! Neighborhood has really good supermarket around the corner, coffee, bakeries nearby. Restaurants in the area, though we cook for ourselves. Walking distance to the Gaudi houses. Metro nearby gets you everywhere. We would surely stay here again.
Amazing apartment in an awesome location; Super spacious, comfy and clean. The host was very accommodating. My friends and I loved it.
If I had to do it over again, I would book another apartment instead of this one. First time in Barcelona, I chose this apartment based on the reviews, pictures and a general sense of where it was located on the map. First thing you should know, the apartment is very close to Ramblas. A good location in the heart of the city near Ramblas, Placa Catalunya, Bouqeria. That said, the small street it's on is dirty and filled with beggars and most had dogs lying next to them. It's quite upsetting to see every day. Once you walk beyond the street it's on and away from Ramblas, there are tons of beautiful streets to walk around in. Staying on Portaferrissa where this apartment is located (while has lots of shops) would not have been my first choice had I known what its like. Also, taxi's don't go down this street, so if you have a lot of bags it might be a challenge. Secondly, I originally booked the stay with Lina and all communications were with her. Upon arrival, it was someone else from her company filling in because she was on vacation. I would have appreciated if she gave me a heads up as to who I was going to be meeting. Up-front at booking, it was communicated to Lina that getting the apartment as early as possible was a priority as my parents were arriving at 7am and would be tired after travel. Lina's colleague agreed to meet at 2:30pm to get keys (it was the earliest they could do). The apartment hadn't even begun to be cleaned yet when I arrived. It was a mess! The place looked awful and it was frustrating to walk into that mess without even knowing it wasn't cleaned yet. It ended up taking a few hours to clean and we waited until about 5:30pm when it was ready. No discount was offered for the inconvenience, but they did bring over a bottle of champagne. The apartment was much improved once it was cleaned. However, it doesn't look like the pictures in person. It's not as bright and a few things to keep in mind; the furniture was different than in the pictures (not as nice), one of the kitchen sinks is broken, no nespresso cups are provided and the apartment generally needs maintenance. Building elevator only fits two or three people at a time. The beds are not comfortable. There was a taxi strike during the stay and we regretted booking Airbnb instead of a hotel because there was no concierge readily available to help us figure out alternative transport. All in all, not bad.. but I would try to stay on a better street if you can along one of the many charming and cleaner streets away from Ramblas.

First of all, let me apologize for my absence during your visit (it was my birthday anniversary and I was away for a couple of days). However, as you’ve been informed by one of my colleagues, i was reachable by email all the time and any of your messages would have been attended immediately in the event, and of course you could have had immediate attention by phone in case of any issue 24/7.
The street our apartment located in is pedestrian and closed to the traffic, the way you’d have to manage from the point taxi leaves you to the door is around 25-30m. It has grocery shops, pharmacies, and european brands clothing, and this street is being cleaned and washed by the city service every morning. It has some beggars from time to time, especially due to its wonderful location and many people passing through, but at the same time its being patrolled by the police every time. This is the image you’d see on the central streets of New York and most of the cities you’d go.
If you’d ask me a quiet residential street i’d have offered one of my beloved apartments in peaceful Gracia neighbourhood, but we all have to consider the choice between centrally located and quiet streets free of beggars.
I have to apologize for the delay to have the apartment ready:
we had other guests checking out that day and they wouldn’t leave the apartment on time as requested, but a couple of hours later and it had been left a big mess, and we obviously couldn’t have the apartment in perfect condition upon your arrival. It’s not the usual situation and this time we were caught in our “flexibility” trap when you offer a later check-in and earlier check-out without taking into account other circumstances. Again, in our earlier correspondence it was clearly stated that the earlier check-in would be possible in case there’s no checking-out same day and it was not the case. Also, you were offered to rent the night before for your peace of mind.
We offered to keep your luggage in the apartment while we were cleaning up (usually we do not do that due to the expression you’d have by seeing the place after check-out, that’s why my team offered to leave the luggage in the office and not in the apartment but you've insisted to go directly to the apt). This is how we got caught to the second “flexibility” trap. You obviously wouldn’t write in review how dirty the apt was if you’d never ever saw that. It was actually ready around 4PM with the second cleaning person we sent and could have been finished a bit faster if you’d leave the apartment while cleaning as we requested. *(esto hay que confirmar con Fely, pero creo que al final no bajaron!!!)
Airbnb was always more then just a commercial website but a strong community built on confidence, reliance and good faith. We thought you could get in our skin at that point and understand that we didn’t have other option but to ask you out for some time in order to finish the cleaning.
We had lots of nice reviews for this apartment and nobody claimed uncomfortable beds or “not as nice furniture”, which we could assume absolutely subjective. In the other hand, if something of the furniture gets broken we'd change it immediately for the one of the same type, however we couldn’t guarantee the same colour as presented on the photo. Same as if the walls got dirty, we’d repaint them in more or less same colour, however the decor elements could differ.
We’d solve the nescafe cups issue if we were ever notified of it by email or phone, although you have the point that one of two sinks in the kitchen is actually not working properly and it requires a bit more time and not so fast to resolve, but we’re working on it.

The place was very clean and i enjoyed staying there since it was also located centraly. I had no problems neither with the supplied utencils nor the internet, ehich can be a big problem when your a netrat like me. I would definitly recommend it and would love to stay again.
Het contact verliep goed, ze waren aanwezig bij aankomst en vertrek. Het appartement was licht, modern en ruim. De locatie ook prima, heerlijk een supermarket in de straat. Allen de kakkerlakken vonden wij vervelend.
Bedankt voor uw feedback en alle commentaren. Ik ben oprecht excuses voor dit ongemak veroorzaakt door de kakkerlak. Wij beschouwen het reinigen als een van onze sterke punten en we streven ernaar om onze appartementen en gebouwen in perfecte omstandigheden ordelijkheid en netheid te houden. Onze prioriteit is altijd de tevredenheid en het comfort van onze gasten. Zoals je gemerkt hebben we een schoon team altijd in het gebouw, niet alleen om het reinigen van de appartementen nadat u uitchecken, maar ook voor het hele gebouw, inclusief dak en gemeenschappelijke ruimtes schoon te maken.
Maar ondanks al onze inspanningen kunnen we niet alle appartementen omgeving en aangrenzende straten beheersen. Dit is Local Government plicht, en ze doen een goede baan schoonmaken van de straten en de riolering, maar soms hebben ze niet goed schoon te maken, of ze slaan het voor een paar weken en een bug kan krijgen in de mensen buizen op zoek naar voedsel , speciaal op het oude gedeelte van de stad. Dit is een probleem in alle oude steden van Europa (Parijs, Londen, Rome, Praag ...). Trouwens, twee keer per jaar een plaag controle bedrijf sturen we naar het gebouw om alles te controleren. Dit bedrijf verspreidt een soort van chemische, volkomen onschadelijk voor mensen, om een bug aanwezigheid te voorkomen, maar zoals gezegd, dit is nutteloos als de Local Government helpt ons niet goed schoonmaken van de straten.
Nogmaals, mijn excuses voor de aanwezigheid kakkerlak. Als u ons over dit probleem tijdens uw verblijf had aangemeld, zouden we ons best doen nemen van een aantal maatregelen om uw verblijf te veraangenamen, of zelfs je het veranderen. We zullen de bestaande maatregelen om te voorkomen dat ook dit gebeuren te versterken en zal de Local Government praat met haar aanwezigheid in het gebied te vergroten.

3rd room is small and beds could be a bit better but overall a really nice stay.
