Queens Park underground train (zone 2, 5 mins walk from the flat) goes straight to Paddington (4 stops), and Oxford Circus (9 stops). Fantastic range of boutique shops, cafes, bars and restaurants plus a beautiful park just 2 minutes away.
Our flat has some lovely old furniture and original paintings and prints, a large spacious, well equipped kitchen/dining room and a large separate sitting room, fast Wi-fi, 40in Sony Bravia TV & DVD & Sony hi-fi. It's on the top (2nd) floor of a 19th Century house and is very light with Windows on three sides. It also has a sunny private garden on the ground floor.
Brondesbury Park, the tube in the opposite direction, is great for East-West journeys to visit the Olympic park area or to Hampstead Heath, Richmond or Kew Gardens.
Queens Park is popular with media people - the BBC is nearby and has quite a few celebs too. You may run into Thandie Newton walking her dog in the park. Jason Isaacs (Lucius Malfoy in the Harry Potter films) is also a local resident.
The bedrooms are arranged as follows: Bedroom 1 (kingsized ziplink bed that also splits into 2 singles, Bedroom 2 double bed, Bedroom 3 bunk beds (6ft long and big enough to accommodate most adults. However there is also a king-sized sofa bed in the sitting room. So a party of 3 couples, for example, can have 3 doubles and use bedroom 3 as a dressing room.
The excellent of cafes, shops and restaurants within a couple of minutes walk of the house include Jacks (a great diner-style bistro, Hugos, the Salusbury Tavern gastropub, Gails Artisan bakery and Penks Restaurant, probably the best in the area.
Sushi Say Japanese restaurant is about 15 minutes walk and is so good (and such good value) that people travel right across London to go there. Or there's a great traditional Fish & Chip shop just opposite Queens Park tube station.
There is a Sainsburys local supermarket less than 100 metres from the flat selling everything you need for a short stay: fresh bread, beer, wine, ready-meals, meats, fruit etc. And every Sunday morning there is a very popular Farmers Market 150 metres from the flat selling organic and local produce.
Queens Park itself is 2 minutes walk. The Queens Park Rangers football team, now in the Premier League, played here in the early days. It's still great for kicking a football around or jogging, but it also has tennis courts, a pétanque area, pitch and putt golf, an excellent cafe with outside tables, a playground for children under 12, a paddling pool, a huge sandpit area for toddlers and a children's animal zoo.
Portobello Road in Notting Hill with its excellent shops, market and cafes is also walking distance.
nb Price includes bed linen, towels & cleaning at the end of your stay. Flat is always let exclusively with sole occupancy for renters.

Lived round here for over 20 years. Great atmosphere, lots of cafes, shops and restaurants plus a beautiful park but not full of tourists like some central areas. Very near the tube (where many trains finish so you almost always get a seat!)
Yes Queens Park flat is 5 minutes walk (Zone 2 direct to Paddington, Bakers Street and Picadilly Circus). All five London airports less than an hour from the flat.
1. No smoking & no pets although you can smoke in the private garden area.
2. We normally only let to families or groups of adults over 21. There are two other residential flats in the building so we do ask guests to be considerate.
3. Queens Park is a very safe area of London but as in any big city it is important never to leave doors and gates open if unattended.
4. We use a key-safe system so arrival and departure times are flexible.
5. Parking vouchers are available for £5 per day.
6. Dryer is a drying rack that's provided in the flat. There is a laundrette with an electric tumble dryer 150m from the flat.
We will try to accommodate early check and late check out where possible. Worst case is that new arrivals can leave bags at the flat after 10.00AM. However we do reserve the right to charge for late departures as we have to pay our cleaners to wait.
The cleaning fee includes cleaning at the end of the stay, gas, electricity and all linen (sheets, towels, tea towels)
We do accept 2 night bookings but normally at the 3 night price.
The reservation was canceled 87 days before arrival. This is an automated posting.
Great location, two overground and one underground station near by. Nice appartment with lots of space and comfortably equiped. Easy to shop for groceries in walking distance (gail's bakery for fresh bread in the morning!). We can recommend and will come back with pleasure.
Lovely place as described. Stayed with four adults and two kids no worries. Tube was 5min walk and the Sainsburys shop (2min) was open to 11pm. Living room was excellent and the beds comfy. Literally the lack of a tea towel was our only complaint! Ben was very helpful when it transpired we were lacking the info to get into the flat, and let us check in early. Very happy.
Det här är en fantastiskt fin lägenhet som verkligen rekommenderas! Lägenheten är nästan finare i verkligheten än på bilderna. Dessutom är omgivningarna trevliga och det är smidigt att ta sig i till centrala London.
We were a family of five and found the flat very conveniently located (near tube, Atm, supermarket), cosy and warm, and lovely light filled kitchen and place to eat breakfast. Everything was as described. We would highly recommend staying in this flat for a perfect sight seeing trip to London.
The place was perfect and we had a party of six. Just what we expected. When we go back to London we will book again. Thanks for adding to a wonderful vacation. Highly recommend very convent to stores, pubs, cafés, and transportation. Would give 4 stars for the perfect place...
We had a fabulous stay at Ben's lovely home on Salusbury Rd. We were three adult women and it was perfect that we could each have our own bedroom. The house itself was just as described, but I would say even nicer/roomier than I had expected. All of felt that the beds were extremely comfortable. The kitchen was well equipped, we had several meals at home.
The neighborhood is extremely quaint and welcoming - we felt right at home! There is a chain grocery store a couple of blocks away, as well as several smaller stores that sold things needed for the house and food. There are numerous delicious restaurants and several cute stores. It was so refreshing to get the local neighborhood experience of London, and not just that of the crowded touristy zones. The farmers market at the elementary school on Sunday's is not to be missed! As three women, we always felt completely safe and comfortable in the neighborhood. The walk to the tube station is not far at all and was very pleasant.
I would absolutely recommend that other travelers book with Ben - except for when we come back. Because we'd really like to stay there ourselves ;)

Director of a holiday cottage agency called West Country Lets in Devon. We specialise in hand-picked cottages and apartments in the South Hams and Devon areas.
I moved out of London in summer 2010 to Devon. Married with two teenage sons and in my spare time into cycling (on and off road), trail running. skiing and the occasional triathlon.
In the past I worked as a journalist & magazine publisher but more recently have run my own companies: a dating company, a travel company and now my agency.
I'm happy with lots of styles of travelling. I have particularly fond memories of cycle camping around Europe. But a bit of luxury can be good too.
