  • This apartment is ideally located in the heart of Rome. We could walk to Piazza Navona, the Pantheon and the Vatican. The apartment is also spacious and comfortable. We had five people and with three big bedrooms, a full sized lounge room and an eat in kitchen there was space for everyone. It is nice to have a washing machine too for longer stays. Luca was always easy to contact via email and he replied to all our questions. For people who only spoke English it was a little difficult not having extra information on arrival, such a places to eat and where to buy groceries but the guide books in the apartment were a big help. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this place to people who are looking to discover Rome by living like a local. It is a character filled apartment and so well located. We loved it.

  • Luca's apartment is very well located, and is so big! There was no problem getting the key, and Luca is very responsive. The apartment is fairly dark during the day, but then again it's Rome! So one shouldn't be inside too much anyway. Overall it was a wonderful stay.

  • Location, location, location! This is a great apartment for anyone looking for the perfect location in Rome. It's comfortable walking distance to the Vatican area and the fun, lively night-time area of the Campo dei Fiore market. The other major sightseeing areas are walkable for those who love walking in the city, or getting on the hop-on, hop-off Roma Sightseeing bus with the pick-up point at the Vatican bus-stop. Restaurants, grocery store, you-name-it -- it's all close by. The apartment itself is spacious and comfortable. Luca and Lucia have tried to provide all the amentities, like hair dryers and converters!. It's a no-frills place (a little funky plumbing by American standards, the furnishings are a bit weary, beds are so-so, and the apartment does require some stairs [1 1/2 flights], but there is nothing better than the large living room at the end of the day for a good glass of wine and chatting about the events of the day. It's large enough to be comfortable for at least 4 adults and up to 6 + 1 kid in the master bedroom with mom and dad. Three bedrooms, nice kitchen with eat-in space, comfy living room. No real view, per se, but a cool old building and a beautiful church across the street = a great stay.

  • Perfect place to stay in Rome! The location was great, and the apartment is beautiful. Luca was very accommodating and a pleasure to deal with...Everyone was friendly and welcoming. The kitchen was well appointed and there is lots of great food shopping nearby...which was great since I love to cook. Plenty of space too! We will definitely return :)

  • The apartment of Luca Tirello fully accommodated the wishes of me and my family to a pleasant and homely apartment in the center of Rome! A GREAT apartment, which I can warmly recommend for future guests - with plenty of place for 6 people. The very authentic surroundings offer a feast of entertainment and culture and a warm welcoming atmosphere. We had a perfect holiday!
