Colums house is huge and we had more than enough space for four people. The house is in a beautiful area only waiting to be explored.
Calum and Roco (his small very cute dog) welcomed us and made sure we felt as home. Thank you for letting us stay in hour house, Colum :)
This was our first experience of using Airbnb and it really was a success. Colum was really helpful, and the property he has built himself was lovely.
The surrounding area is beautifully rural in a small village not far from Bantry. There were 6 of us and we were comfortably accommodated. we would definitely return if heading that way again.
Colum made us feel so welcome on arrival & ensured we were made to feel very much at home in his beautiful house.
The area was just so lovely exactly everything we were looking for and more, everything from the local walks, the castle, the river right at the end of the garden and the fabulous surrounding scenery!
It was such a great base for our few days exploring both West Cork and Kerry & Colum ensured we had everything we needed.
We were so impressed with the house, the location, the river, the host that it's hard to know where to start. Colum was a gracious host who obviously is proud of his fabulous home for good reason. The recent construction had everything we needed - modern kitchen, on suite baths for each room, and attention to detail in all things. The river! What an asset to be enjoyed. We loved the windows open just to hear the water every night. Did I mention the castle across the street? The walking trails would have kept us busy for days and the location was a great launching point for the Ring of Beara and the Ring of Kerry. Our only regret was not spending more time in County Cork and at this home.
We wish Colum the best and would highly recommend his home!
