The house is not for rent this fall/winter 2014-15 but it will most likely be available again in Spring of 2015. Please do take the time to read about the house and area below. Thank you for your patience.
Enjoy summer nights on the deck of this stylish, modern ranch and all you'll hear are the creek, the crickets and the occasional owl. Located 10 minutes from the restaurants and shops of artsy Callicoon, NY, you can easily buzz to town for provisions and camaraderie and then return to your private sanctuary.
Nearby the Long Eddy Hotel and town offers a wonderful saloon bar, trail walks and river access. Swimming and kayaking in the Delaware River is a must in summer months.

Horrible experience. There is a cemetery next to the house just on the neighbor's property; It is visible from inside the house, you can see the tombstones through to the windows. Tamara does not specify it and she told us that is not an issue.
I'm very saddened by the experience of these guests. I will leave it to the Airbnb community whom have rented my property (you guys who left a review below) to answer any specific concerns about "tombstones", which is actually a small, disused cemetery on my neighbours property about 250+ metres away. But there we go.
We had a great time in Tamara's house over the New Year. The house was cozy and cute, perfect for 2 couples or a family. Tamara was very responsive and easy to work with. The only issue I had was that the internet was pretty spotty, so I had to go into town when I needed to take care of some work. No biggie, and I assume most people aren't going there to work.
Tamara's guesthouse is perfect. It's set on a secluded hill surrounded by woods on all sides. It's a beautiful spot, especially after a snowfall. We used the fireplace a number of times during our stay, and it made the house supercozy. The kitchen was well stocked with pots, pans, utensils, and spices; I cooked nearly every day. There's no TV, but Tamara offers guests plenty of books, magazines, and a fully-loaded iPod for music. There are also great hikes and drives in the area. We can't wait for our return trip. Note that during the winter, you may have to park at the bottom of the driveway, if it's icy. It's on a steep hill, which wasn't a problem for us but might be for some.
We stayed at Tamara's place for thanksgiving and we couldn't have made a better choice. We felt welcome from the very moment we opened the door and realized the house had been heated for us. The location is beautiful, relaxing and the snow made it magical. The house is perfect for two couples, extra comfortable beds, large kitchen with everything you need, and a beautiful fireplace for cozy relaxing winter nights. Tamara is the perfect host and her attention to the details made our experience really enjoyable and hassle free. Highly recommended.
Tamara's house is A-MA-ZING. The fireplace is perfect for the winter. Plus, the house has amazing design and Tamara has a great taste for books too (there are plenty to choose from!). Everything was cozy and I even asked where she got the comforters because they were so fluffy! We also liked how the kitchen connects with the living room, so we cooked and interacted at the same time. You will certainly enjoy it. We cannot wait to go back.
Tamara's house is so lovely, bright and airy. She's a wonderful host and provided us with a super useful guide of the area and was very responsive. We had a wonderful time swimming and tubing in the Delaware River, visiting Alice and Neil's farm stand and meeting their goats, cooking in the beautiful kitchen and making s'mores in the fire pit. The house is perfectly located for tranquility and privacy but is also close to Callicoon and Narrowsburg which are great towns to explore. We can't wait to stay in this beautiful home again soon!
Nice home in a great location! Very convenient to French Woods Festival of Performing Arts where our kids went to camp. Tamera left very clear directions on all the features of the house and the experience dealing with Tamera was very professional.
