Beautiful area

Guests love this home’s scenic location.
Lavender Cottage is located in the picturesque village of Iden, East Sussex. Renowned as an Area of Oustanding Natural Beauty, the village was first mentioned in the Domesday book.

Dating back to the 17th Century, the pretty cottage with its wonky floors, low ceilings, inglenook fireplace and abundance of character, is the perfect base for exploring this medieval part of the country.

The space
Lavender cottage is arranged over two floors.

Downstairs you will find the kitchen/diner, family bathroom and lounge with inglenook fireplace.
Upstairs there are 3 bedrooms with an ensuite to the master.

Lavender cottage is semi detached yet very private and fully enclosed. The two patios enjoy both the sun and shade and there are several seating options for guests to enjoy.

The pathway has a lot of character but is uneven so guests are reminded to walk carefully when entering and exiting the cottage and is not suitable for any guests with mobility problems.

The driveway to the front of the cottage can accommodate up to 3 cars and is for the sole use of our guests.

Lavender Cottage is our very much loved second home and we work hard to ensure our guests feel relaxed and enjoy this beautiful region!

We work very closely with wine tour companies, private chefs and Spa therapists. If you are staying with us for a particular celebration - please let me know when booking and I would be more than happy to recommend something special!
