The space
If you like History then the rich and wonderful Historic & Ancient Sites of Orkney, Orkney is a World Heritage Site, or for the history of the World Wars, Orkney was a major base for the Navy during both the First & Second World Wars, will more than keep you occupied.

If you like Wildlife then we have that too. Around the shores, you could see Otters, Grey & Common Seals or possibly even spot Whales, Dolphins or Porpoises. For Bird Watchers Orkney has major RSPB reserves, Burgar Hill, Hundland and Marwick hides are near-by, or visit sea bird colonies on the cliffs, or waders on the beaches and lochs.

If you want to be more energetic then Orkney is very friendly towards the Walker, with excellent walking routes across moor and heath or coastal and cliffside paths, and the Cyclist, with good roads and cycle routes.

Or just come to relax, and let the magic of Orkney, its scenery and the clean fresh air revitalise you.
