Glenn and Suzanne provided an experience that was everything we anticipated from the description and more! We felt completely at home and at peace while enjoying the studio, and every town and outdoorsy place we desired to explore was within a very short drive, walk, or bike ride from the studio. We hope to send many friends and family members back to Mendo Studio and to return soon ourselves! Thank you, Glenn and Suzanne! You're both wonderful!
Glenn and Suzanne are amazing hosts. The amount of love and caring that emits from them is seen in each beautiful detail of this amazingly romantic studio. My boyfriend and I not only adored the location but loved spending time with them in the morning chatting over coffee and learning about the area and what sights to see. We will most definitely be coming back and recommend it highly for anyone who wan'ts a magical getaway.
Glenn and Suzanne have raised the bar on my future Airbnb stays. This is honestly the best place I have ever stayed, much of it due to their graciousness. The studio has so many thoughtful details throughout. Wonderful light, peaceful, comfortable bed, its own water heater (!), and all of the amenities you could think of. If you discover that you have zero skills at building a fire (like I did), they will prep a wood "structure" that results in a blazing fire in no time flat. This was a birthday getaway for me, and I was so touched to get back one night and discover a cake waiting for me. Best hosts ever. If you have the opportunity to stay here, don't hesitate. There is beauty in all directions, so you can't go wrong. I hope to stay here again on my next road trip!!
We absolutely adored this place. It was so quiet, surrounded by Redwoods, and exactly what we needed. Glenn and Suzanne are very sweet and we're incredibly accommodating with our last minute arrival. We'll definitely be back!
Suzanne and Glenn were tremendous hosts for me and my girlfriend during our New Years weekend exploring the Mendocino area! The room was cozy, clean and spacious with a wood oven for heat. It was adjacent to their house off a dirt road in the woods off of the Pacific Coast Highway. Just a couple of miles from Mendocino Village, we had easy access to restaurants, beaches and hiking. Great location, picturesque area and great hosts-- what more could we ask for?
We had such a lovely time at Medo Studio. It was the perfect way to spend the New Year. We loved the peace and quiet and the FIREPLACE! Hope to come back again!
The Mendo Studio is a perfect place to stay! Glenn and Suzanne were delightful hosts. They were warm and welcoming, greeting us in the driveway and then showing us around the studio. The studio is spotless, cozy, with lots of charm and all of the amenities that you could find at a top hotel. Glenn and Suzanne pay incredible attention to detail, including leaving a vase of fresh lavender from their garden and offering to start the fireplace for us each evening before we tucked in for the night. Their suggestions for things to do around town were spot on (whale watching, hike to waterfall). They even let us borrow their binoculars. The studio is located in peaceful woods, but just a short drive from the town of Mendocino and nearby state parks and other sites. Can't wait to visit again!
Eclectic, well traveled, semi-professional couple. Our worlds continue to expand through friends, visitors, travel, personal connections, and new interests.
We are located close in to just about everywhere on the Mendo coast: the historic village of Mendocino, Little River, Caspar, Fort Bragg, Elk, numerous California State Parks, Big River, and the Pacific. Hike, bike, or drive right from the studio apartment.
