Mi dispiace, ma il posto e la camera non mi sono piaciuti affatto. La proprietaria è comunque gentile.
My stay with Miriam suited my needs completely - a comfortable room and bed, hot shower, good breakfast, and central location for exploring the east central region of Ireland. Miriam's friendliness, knowledge of the area, and helpful recommendations of places to visit was a much appreciated bonus. I heartily recommend this central location for day trips to Kilkenny, Waterford, and east central Ireland.
Miriam is a very sweet and lovely, sociable person. She was so accomodating, and a great hostess. And we recommend her place to anyone who wants to visit Carlow, or better yet, to enjoy the idyllic place that is Leighlinbridge. The walk along the canal, past the castle ruins, is just amazing.
Th host was very welcoming and accommodating. It's not too close to Kilkenny so if you are looking for a place to sight see,and you have your own transportation, go for it. If you need a place to crash after sampling Kilkenny's nightlife, you may want to consider someplace a little closer.
I would recommend staying here to anyone.
Miriam is a very friendly and nice host with lots of traveling experience - we had interesting conversations with her!
We could use the kitchen and the living room, which was great, and the atmosphere was very warm!
I thoroughly enjoyed my few days at Miriams. We knew Miriam wasn't going to be there when I arrived - but her neighbours took over - one even walked me into town to show me the best pub and a little guided tour on the way ! Miriam is a delightful, experienced host. She had lots of ideas for day trips and walks. The village is absolutely exquisite, and only about 20 miles from the very pretty 'city' of Kilkenny. A really comfy and warm bed, and the village is so quiet - I even slept in !!
Miriam was very kind and helpful, we had a wonderful time in Kilkenny thanks to her! She gave us great tips about what to visit in the area. The room was nice and clean and we also had delicious breakfast :)
Big comfortable bed, lightening fast wifi, hot shower and great host.. That's all I needed during my stay as I had a lot of work to do in the 3 days I was there. Very cute town- I wish I had had more time to explore!
After having spent almost three weeks in Ireland and stayed with four other hosts, Miriam was one of the most gracious and accommodating ones we had.
